Seaside paved area, limited electricity

Clean but very noisy! At the same time, it is a city spot. Very close to the main street and the port.

The site is still operating. Everything works, and both disposal areas are very clean. As well described, services are NOT available around the clock. The site is central, ten minutes from town. The ferry is naturally audible—it is a harbour parking area. Depending on the wind, you can sometimes smell the ferry too. We always enjoy coming back.

We could not drive onto the site because the system was defective. There was still plenty of room at other nearby places to park and spend the night. Ideal for visiting Dieppe. No shade.

Unfortunately, the site is closed during the high season. The location is excellent, though.

Good place to spend the night. Pay at a machine. Next to the camper area there is a self-cleaning public toilet that is open during the day. The parking area is beside the promenade and beach. We could watch the sunset from our seaside spot.

Very good place for one or two nights, directly by the sea. Apart from electricity being limited to certain hours and only a few connection points, everything is really fine. The site is not beautiful, but you are right in the centre, which is ideal.

We stayed here to take a boat trip in Dieppe. Perfectly adequate for that purpose. €8.20 for five hours.

Hello everyone. I am giving two stars, but only for the view! For the price charged for parking, there is not even electricity 24 hours a day, and I will not mention the price of the services. The place is extremely noisy. I suspect the municipality of Dieppe no longer really wants to see motorhomes there. No problem—other places near Dieppe welcome us with open arms.

This is one of the worst Marie operated Aires have ever been to. it's dirty with insufficient power points for the numbers. The service area is also dirty and poorly maintained. Add boy racing with open exhausts and tooting it's just not a place you'd want to use unless you are desperate. Moved over to the other site across the harbour for peace and quiet with clean services.

Useful as a car park for visiting Dieppe during the day, if you cannot find anywhere else. Parking costs €8.20. Then leave quickly, unless you enjoy sitting right on top of your neighbours.

Good location but little else positive. Few electrical outlets and lots of traffic around, including ferries. The payment machine invalidated our ticket when we paid, and only with the help of a fellow camper who spoke very good French did we manage to leave. He patiently spoke with the service hotline. Positive: Facing the beach, with the city centre just a few steps away. Negative: Constant port noise 24/7. A basketball court creates noise until midnight. Car racing around the square. Too few electrical outlets. Service area present but in poor condition. For me, it is effectively a €19 parking lot without electricity. The municipality could do better.

We are here tonight and it is an absolute nightmare. It is 10 p.m. and the noise is unbearable: rap music from the playing fields next to the motorhome area, motorcycles and large engines surrounding the motorhomes, people shouting and dogs barking. As everyone knows, like attracts like, so all kinds of noisy people end up here.

Stayed here for only one night and moved on quickly. There are not enough electrical hookups, and the price was not cheap for a stopover without electricity. One became available in the morning, so I plugged in quickly, only to find that it switched off; electricity is available only from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Great destination for exploring the area. Busy and noisy, with cars honking and racing around. Right on a stony beach. Close to restaurants and bars.

Well located, but freely accessible to anyone who wants to enter. For €19, it should be restricted to users only. There is a self-cleaning toilet at the entrance.

Very well located for visiting the city's tourist attractions. We did not use the electricity services. For our part, we had no problems with noise.

Forget about power—if you can plug in, that's a bonus. The location is great, with a lovely walk into town, and the sunsets are amazing. There's also a fantastic Indian restaurant just around the corner that's well worth a visit; the food is excellent.

This parking area deserves credit for existing. It is very convenient because it is close to the port, but too expensive for the services offered. There are not enough electrical outlets, and several are defective, not to mention the disposal point, which is completely damaged.

This pitch is very well located and clean. We did not need electricity. There is a public toilet. It is located directly on the beach. Ferry engine noise and evening city sounds are absolutely not disturbing. The old town and restaurants at the harbor are a five-minute walk away.

Expensive for what is provided, but necessary because there are not many options in the area. Do not rely on getting electricity when it is busy.

We stayed here overnight. It is suitable for sightseeing in the city followed by relaxing on the beach. It is not quiet at night. We had electricity during the stated hours.

€19 for 24 hours, packed in like sardines; one hookup with two outlets for six to eight motorhomes. You should see how many outlets there are on one hookup, and all that just to have electricity for a few hours! We turned around, and a few kilometers farther on found a nice spot. No regrets.

A well-located seaside area close to the port shops and town center. However, it does not resemble a proper motorhome area: no services work at all—water, toilet, or electricity. It looks like a simple parking lot, but the price remains expensive, or even unjustified, compared with the advertised services that are not provided.

Still no electricity at 2:30 p.m. It is actually a great place, and the ferry engine noise is bearable. The electricity situation is annoying; the pitch is too expensive for that!

Nice motorhome area close to the town center, but the electricity hours have changed: “Electric charging available from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.” A shame about this change.

Very well located for going out: right on the seafront, close to the town center and the castle. However, it is very close to the ferry quay for England. Every departure, four times a day, causes very unpleasant fumes and significant noise for an hour and a half. The last departure is at 1 a.m. and the return is at 5 a.m. Avoid this place if you want to sleep well, especially for €19 without electricity.

Sea view, but noisy because of urban street racing. It is impossible to top up the water because the machine is out of order, and there are not enough electrical outlets; first come, first served.

€19. Seriously? Temporary electricity, and a basketball court right next to it. Too expensive.

Well located, but the price is excessive for the comfort: not enough electrical hookups, and very noisy because of the basketball court next to the parking area, plus a low engine noise almost all night. I will not come back.

The price is a little exaggerated, but the location is really excellent.

Having used this area for a long time, I find that the operator is very greedy! €19 for 24 hours; this price is excessive and keeps increasing year after year. Moreover, without electricity at every pitch, at this price one can be demanding. In short, the location is certainly ideal but expensive. What a shame; I think there will be fewer and fewer people using this area.

Excellent. Not far from the town. In April, the 220V electricity is intermittent, but it is okay; it allows everyone to get a little power if we share. I like it—it is flat and clean.

The view is beautiful, but it is very noisy at night because of the nearby ship noise and nighttime commercial activity.

Warning: the sea wall is closed. Otherwise, it is a beautiful city and worth stopping in.

The location is very good because it is right on the beach. Facilities are available; it is just a shame that there are too few electrical posts and they do not operate during the stated hours. Sometimes there is noise from ships and traffic, but that is logical in a harbor and in a city.
