18-32 Grande Rue, 54480, Val-et-Châtillon
Been here?
A free, peaceful 5–6-pitch spot in a quiet village with beautiful walks to nearby waterfalls and forests. Water costs €3 (coin-operated); electricity available for fee. Free waste disposal. Mobile signal is weak. Peaceful surroundings with no village shops; a bakery opens at 09:30 and main shopping is 15 minutes away in Cirey-sur-Vézouze.

Very good spot. Mobile reception isn't very good and is sometimes unstable.
Actually a nice camper spot. Beautiful pitches separated by hedges, surrounded by greenery. Water costs €3. But the sawmill visible nearby makes an unbearably shrill noise—not constantly, but repeatedly. We drove somewhere else.
Quiet little free spot. We spent one night here with no problems. Borne is coin operated and water quick to fill.
A really lovely place where everything worked perfectly. It’s a very quiet little village with not much around, but that’s exactly what makes it so peaceful and beautiful. We especially liked that we could park our car right next to the caravan spot, which was very convenient. Overall, a great stay and definitely a place we would recommend.
Beautiful place with lovely walking routes to two waterfalls and around a lake. You can also empty waste here, but we don't really understand water costing €3 for 10 minutes. Just let people use coins to choose how many litres of water they want. And keep in mind that flushing and filling the toilet also uses that €3; otherwise it won't work!
Very nice, quiet place; we spent one night here. The cotton mill museum only opens in May, but we had the opportunity to speak with the manager, a very passionate man. Many thanks to the municipality for this lovely site.
Many thanks to the municipality for this very welcoming site. We only stopped here to use the services, but we will remember the place because it is probably also good for spending the night.
Quiet place, with lovely walks nearby. Fifteen minutes by car from Center Parcs Les Trois Forêts, useful if it rains all day.
Very nice spot, I spent 2 quiet nights here, Interesting hike and pond nearly
Warning: our leisure-battery charger burned out after 5 minutes connected to service point number 3. I am unsuccessfully trying to contact the town hall.
Thank you to the local council and people that maintain the free site. Excellent signage. Excellent location and pitches well marked out. EHU if wanted. Water if wanted at cost. Excellent. Free to drain grey and black waste (wc). Quiet area. Great to let the dog have a walk. Waterfall was nice. Bins too. Thanks
Beautiful location. Flat pitches. Lovely surroundings for walking and mountain biking. Wonderfully peaceful. Shh, don't tell anyone. There are only 6 spaces. The forest walks are hidden gems.
A camper site exactly as a camper site should ideally be, and all of it free! The village itself has little to offer, but the surroundings are beautiful.
Nice place, well done to the municipality. However, it would be good to teach people not to leave their excrement behind—and I am not talking about dog mess, whose owners are certainly vigilant. Dogs are often criticised, but they are very often not to blame.
Very pleasant site, thank you to the municipality, but motorhome users, please respect the recycling bins. Glass does not belong in either the recycling or non-recycling container. The container is 100 m away and clearly signposted.
Magnificent place in the countryside, quiet, in a pleasant village.
Very nice place with hiking trails starting nearby. The spacious pitches are marked out and very quiet. Many thanks.
The camper site is very nicely designed. We felt comfortable. Thank you to the municipality for providing this free overnight option.
Very nice place. We drove here especially to fill up with water, but it was out of order, so the trip was pointless.
Beautiful place in the middle of an extremely quiet village. The pitches are optimally designed; many thanks to the municipality. Internet is fine, but there is no bakery. The service station works perfectly for a fee, payable in cash. Wonderful hiking trails start directly here. An unbelievably beautiful area!
A paradise for those seeking peace and quiet. The water doesn't work, but we were prepared, so it wasn't a problem. Numerous walks and some beautiful geocaches can be found.
Magnificent place! Each camper van pitch is separated by green fance, giving good privacy. Very quiet, except church bells that weren't also loud. There is a beautiful meadow with a small waterfall nearby. I don't know about the services, but if you need a place for a quiet and beautiful overnight stay, I highly recommend it!
Very picturesque place, there is an opportunity to add water and clean the toilet, there is a river and a waterfall nearby. The town itself is cozy, although there are no shops or a bakery in it. Seats for 5 mobile homes.
