Unnamed Road, 39240, Calbe
Been here?
The official parking area for the Bismarck Tower is relatively large and only slightly sloped. It is quiet and somewhat secluded beside a small wood, but access is bumpy over historic cobblestones and gravel, with some large potholes. There are no service facilities. The tower is 1 km away on foot or 2 km by road; the nearby zoo restaurant opens Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m.

The Bismarck Tower is signposted in the village of Cable. Old-fashioned cobbled road, which shakes you around. The potholes have been partly repaired. Calm and peaceful. The tower is 1 km away on foot via the path, or 2 km by road.
We stayed here for one night. The site is somewhat remote but very quiet, beside a small wood. The approach was somewhat bumpy because the road was made of cobblestones and gravel. In places there were very large potholes. There are no facilities or trash bins, just pure nature.
