Riverside parking, calm nights

It was a great spot to stay overnight after an afternoon in the SPA. Calm at night and I enjoyed listening to the river.

Very good parking for one night before heading up to the resort. Free, but be careful: the police make sure vehicles are parked diagonally and issue fines otherwise. It was a shame that the snow on the ground hid the lines, but they were very understanding. Thanks to the municipality for letting us stay safely.

Great spot for skiing up in Meribel. We stayed for a week (the max time suggested by others), and it was perfect for what we needed. There are public loos couple minutes walk into the town, but no services on site. There is water in the thermal water area, in a park 5 minute walk away. Quiet expect for the river but didn’t bother us.

Parked for two nights for free beside the river in a 7.5 m motorhome. After the first night, we received a polite police notice about occupying too many parking spaces. The car park was very empty. We moved into a single bay without any problem. Some people complained about the noisy river, but we much preferred it to a busy road. Great for taking the gondola to ski.

Awesome place to visit. Silent at night apart from the rushing river. Very narrow spaces but empty during the daytime and night-time.

Very convenient parking because it is in the town, so everything can be done on foot. Numerous toilets and fountains. The spaces are indeed very tight, but let’s not deliberately park across two spaces. Let’s be respectful. You are allowed to remain parked without moving for a maximum of seven days (information obtained from the tourist office). Ideal if you are visiting the thermal baths. Free shuttles.
