Hiking parking, expensive charges

Well maintained and spacious parking lot with beautiful views. Clean toilets, EV charging and a burger/snack booth. Parking is paid via Easy Park app. If you stay longer, you can find a year pass for 300 kr by typing "årskort Lyngen" in the app.

The parking fees, now €300 plus EasyPark fees, are simply extortionate for a basic shaded parking space.

EasyPark worked perfectly with the camera. However, we paid 215 NOK for four hours. That is extortionate.

Nice car park for 270 NOK, royally equipped with toilets... and nothing else! No other amenities. They catch you at the entrance with a camera and you are trapped. Keep going.

The app did not stop automatically for me, so you need to keep an eye on it (you can enter the correct end time yourself). Another vehicle was parked diagonally in front of the exit, probably causing this. I had to pay 173 NOK for 3.5 hours, purely to go walking. If some of this money benefits the community, I have no problem with it. There are information boards and a toilet.

It is a nice and tidy parking area with toilets, but €25 for six hours during the day is simply insane.

Do not park here - don't pay money for visiting nature. This price has nothing to do with nature conservation, but with making money! There are enough gravel spots close to this expensive place. :-P

The payment machine is “out of order”, and the app is currently not working either. We nevertheless stayed on the site for four hours. The site is large enough for motorhomes. We arrived before noon and there was still plenty of space. At 3 p.m. it was quite full. However, we did not enjoy the hike. The beginning is still quite nice, but afterwards it goes for about 4 km over scree to the lake.

A ridiculously expensive paid car park for hiking. It is a shame to have to pay to see nature. Very beautiful hike, however you follow litter scattered on the ground. People are disrespectful. You pay for parking, so use the toilets instead of leaving your waste in nature.

We spent the night in the car park: very quiet. No services. As the payment terminal was not working, we do not know whether we will receive a bill for the night! Hike to Lake Blaisvatnet: four hours round trip. Beautiful walk but scree all the way. Bring hiking shoes and walking poles for greater comfort.

The payment machine is broken and the app failed, displaying: “The licence plate could not be found in the parking system.” Despite all our efforts, we had to leave without being able to pay. The app had worked without problems until now. Update: Perhaps it was because of the O in our German licence plate, which the camera confused with a Norwegian 0? It would be worth trying!

don't even stop here, use the gravel parks down the road. no signage on cost, machine to pay was broken, so can only pay with easy Park. even easy Park would not display cost. seems to be intentionally hidden to charge extra

Hoods were perfect, gravel parking area; not so pretty but what a place to see northern lights! Calm night and clean toilets.
