Been here?
Gammelbro Camping is a well-maintained campsite directly beside the beach, with adequately sized pitches and many family facilities. It has an indoor swimming pool, mini golf, playgrounds, a supermarket, and other services, while motorhome water filling and emptying are free. The site is generally clean, although showers can be insufficient for the number of guests. WiFi and hot water cost extra; one recent stay for 1 night cost 330 kroner.

Great campsite! The beach is excellent, and the facilities were clean and everything was fine. Why the one-star deduction? Wi-Fi costs extra, and hot water costs extra. I do not know whether that is necessary, in my opinion. Otherwise, the kiosk was reasonably priced compared with the surrounding prices. Highly recommended for families with children.
I really liked this very clean campsite, with lots of services and play areas for children. The pool was great, with direct access to the sea. I recommend it if you are passing through.
The campsite is wonderfully located! We booked two weeks in advance and still got a pitch directly in front of the beach. The view is fantastic. The pitches are large enough. One star deducted because there are not enough showers for the number of people. Otherwise, the toilets and showers are reasonably clean. You also have to pay extra for two minutes of hot water in the shower. Otherwise, everyone here is very friendly.
Very nice campsite directly by the water. For one night—two people, one dog, electricity, and two showers—we paid 330 kroner. Dogs are very welcome, and there are rubbish bins and poop-bag dispensers everywhere. There is even a dedicated dog shower on the beach. During our stay the site was quiet and not overcrowded.
Very nice campsite. We arrived today without a reservation for one night, on our way back from Sweden. Excellent pitch, number 56, directly by the water—dreamlike. The on-site supermarket is well stocked and reasonably priced. We would gladly return.
Clean, and above all pleasantly warm washrooms with hot water. Gammelbro Camping also has a lot to offer, especially if you are traveling with children: an indoor playground, swimming hall, tennis, mini-golf, go-kart rental, craft room, and many beautiful playgrounds. Best of all, not everything costs extra, such as the children's diggers or air hockey. We recommend this site.
A very nice site. Everything you need is available. The pitches are sufficiently large. The sanitary facilities are good. Reception speaks German. There is also plenty for children. Our favorite.
Large campsite, very tidy and clean, with beautiful, well-maintained pitches. Friendly people.
Very nice site. We would gladly return.
Exceptionally well-maintained campsite with views of the Baltic Sea. The “old-fashioned” sanitary facilities are very well maintained, so they are not a problem. Good value for money. However, the restaurant is best avoided.
We wanted to stay overnight spontaneously on Saturday at around 5 p.m. Unfortunately, reception was unattended. Ready-made envelopes for people with reservations were there, but registration was not possible. We drove on.
The campsite has everything, yet it lacks the pleasant feeling of camping. We did not feel comfortable. Rather noisy, cramped, and little sense of nature.
Fabulous place! It has everything you need: well-organized areas, very friendly and welcoming staff, and beautiful surroundings. Great for families with children!
The pitch was first-class, really excellent. The surroundings and service were also great. The only drawback is the toilets: very old and not really clean.
Nice and very large campsite, especially appealing because of its proximity to the water. The washrooms are outdated. There are many play options for children, plus a small supermarket, restaurant, and café. Not cheap.
Pitches are okay, with some permanent campers. The sanitary facilities are outdated, and the swimming pool is definitely far too cold for babies. Good playgrounds and a large entertainment program for older children. Otherwise, relatively remote—you need an e-bike or bicycle to explore the area.
Great site, everything clean, and friendly staff!
Excellent campsite. Lots of activities, including mini-golf and an indoor pool. Pitch directly opposite the sea and very spacious. Quiet campsite in the late afternoon and at night. Small shop selling bread, ice cream, groceries, and camping equipment. Walks along the sea with a crossing to Arø. Clean sanitary facilities, with the possibility of cooking and doing laundry.
Very quiet. Leaving early was easy, with a refund. Danish prices. Electricity problems—frequent low voltage caused our refrigerator to shut down.
