Wonderful place in the middle of nature by a fishing stream. In mid-July we were almost alone on the meadow—the exact peace and quiet we were looking for, which we could not find even at 4x4 sites in the area. Clean sanitary facilities, a very fair base price of 250 NOK, electricity another 50 NOK (a long cable may be necessary). Unlimited showers are included! No fixed check-out time.
Park4Night says 200 kr including electricity. This location is beautiful, by a small river. The pitches are very basic and the sanitary facilities are from 1970. At reception I saw that it was 250 kr, plus 50 kr for electricity and 50 kr for a shower. If I had seen this earlier, I would not have stayed here. Much nicer places at Femundsmarka: the canoe campsite or Drevsjø campsite, which cost the same.
Everything here is designed to make you feel comfortable. The facilities are vintage but clean and in good condition. The showers are hot with no time limit, and a small kitchen is available. The pitches are by the river, in the middle of nature, at a more than reasonable price. We recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, uncomplicated place.
In our top 10 favorite campsites... three days of peace, fishing, walks, and a huge thank-you to the owner for clearing the path along the river for our dog Valak... ❤️
The sanitary facilities are very old. We wanted to stay here for one night, but there is no electricity. The site is okay, but you really have to be willing to accept everything else. We drove on.
Old-school camping with the charm of the past. A very beautiful little site by the stream. Everything old, everything clean, everything included at a fair price. Cash payment required. Tired of the busy E6 or E3? On your way north, travel along the Norway/Sweden border on lonely roads and stop here. It is nice that places like this still exist. Now permanently on our itinerary.
Quietly located by the river. Everything is a little outdated, but very clean. At the moment, in the middle of summer, there was no one around and we got a cabin for 400 kroner. For that price, we did not even put up our tent.
