2 Steinmösli, 6197, Schangnau
Been here?
A small hiker parking area right on the main road above Schangnau, used as a starting point for the Steinmösli nature reserve and Rübloch/Emmen Gorge. Only the lower section is level; road noise is a downside. Quiet at night with little traffic, though early mornings can bring passing cattle with loud bells. No parking restrictions.

Only level in the lower area. Compared with the landscape around Schangnau, two kilometres farther on, it is very boring. The road is also a nuisance.Translating
Small hiking car park by the road, little traffic at night. In the morning we did the hike to Steinmösli (20 minutes there and back).Translating
Level place to sleep. We were alone. In the morning several people passed by with many cows, making a lot of noise with their bells. It is a good place to go on an excursion in the morning.Translating
