Weserstraße 11A, 31592, Stolzenau
Been here?
A gravel motorhome area directly beside the Weser, with open space, greenery, shade and views of the river and jetty. The centre is only a few minutes away, and the nearby Weserlust campsite has a restaurant. Electricity, waste disposal and information facilities are available, with service facilities from April to October. The bridge and occasional youths can create noise, although nights are often quiet; the placement costs 10€.

Waste disposal and electricity have been renewed and are now good. Beautiful location by the river, although not completely quiet due to traffic on the bridge and young people in their cars. It is a shame that some people think they need to reserve spaces with chairs. The campsite 50 meters farther on would be the right address for that.Translating
Shady spaces under trees with plenty of greenery, directly on the Weser, with complete and clean waste and water facilities. Very interesting: large inland vessels regularly moor here to take a break. Very suitable for beautiful bike rides. Good restaurants at the entrance to the site.Translating
Service area outside the motorhome site, very functional. Thanks to the municipality. We paid €10 for the pitch using an envelope provided at the entrance and placed in the mailbox. Pitch by the Weser, shaded.Translating
We really liked the motorhome site and spent a quiet night here. Many thanks to the municipality for this great service!Translating
Good location directly by the river. Many pedestrians and noisy young people during the day, quiet at night. Only a few steps to the center. The waste and water facilities are new and work perfectly. Several electrical outlets are still defective.Translating
The location directly by the river and close to the town is a major plus. Unfortunately, the overall condition is not great. Several electrical connections were defective and the cassette rinsing system did not work. Otherwise okay for one or two days.Translating
Beautiful location directly on the Weser. Easy payment: fill out an envelope with €10, put it in the gray box and you’re done. Because of the storm, we stayed nearby. The Weserlust restaurant offers good home-style food and plenty of choice. We did not find gray-water disposal. We stayed self-sufficient without electricity. Also good for a stopover in autumn. Thanks to Stolzenau.Translating
Adequate space, an ideal starting point for bike rides; the night was quiet. Gray-water disposal is currently defective.Translating
The site is currently closed because of bridge construction.Translating
The area is great, but bridge construction can be heard during the day. One drawback is a barge that started at 9 p.m. and hummed for hours. That certainly will not happen every day. We will definitely return for one night and some walks.Translating
Great site, but one of the worst waste and water service stations we have ever experienced.Translating
€10 again from April 1, 2025. Usually well booked at weekends. Water is still turned off. Enough electrical connections, but unfortunately only many small rest-area bins that quickly overflow when fully occupied. We took our rubbish with us. Quiet night, slept well!Translating
Still free, with no pitch fee, until March 31, 2025.Translating
Stopover in October, €10 per night; put an envelope with the money in the mailbox. Inspection from 8 a.m. The waste and water area is rather dirty; no water for rinsing the toilet cassette. Pitches are sufficiently large. Very dark at night because the lighting is switched off. The ground becomes muddy in the rain. The rear pitches are noisier because of traffic on the bridge. Shops and restaurants are easy to reach.Translating
Very well located beside the river, with a lovely town and shops. Payment is made in an envelope placed in the mailbox. Waste disposal is possible, but the water filling is out of order.Translating
Great place to stay with the camper. Beautiful and peaceful beside the River Weser. Stolzenau is within walking distance. Water and electricity are available at the camper site for a fee. Electricity is €1 for 6 hours and overnight stays cost €10. Unfortunately, the water supply was broken when we were there.Translating
