Been here?
This is a spacious paid motorhome parking area with mountain views across the central Black Forest. Entry is secured by a barrier chain and combination lock, with registration or payment arranged through the café opposite; the fee is €10 per night. There is no infrastructure, and the nearby road is noisy during the day but the area is dark at night.

This is probably a good place for a short rest along the road but we didn't find it suitable for staying longer because, during the day, it was noisy because it is close to a busy road. It was also completely dark at night.
Right on the main road. Sounded better than it was.
As described: email the café to receive the code for the combination lock, €10 per night, no facilities but an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours.
Great spot so quiet at night just the rain on the roof. Checked ok to park via email given key code and arranged to pay 10€ in the morning at the cafe. Hopefully find the water tap there.
Large, clean area, secured by a chain, with a dreamlike view and excellent hiking opportunities. The only drawback is the road, with motorbikes during the day.
Attention, impossible to access via the narrow, built-up road, with a cow on the way.
Very nice spot with a great view and very friendly operators. Beautiful and complicated. The cake at Café Pfaus is also highly recommended.
Very nice spot! You can get the combination-lock code at Café Pfaus! We would gladly return.
beautiful spot to park for the night in the centre of the black forest, very dark at night amd if there was a clear sky you would get the most amazing star views. it is next to a main road but it is very quiet at night and we had lovely walks in the black forest. owners we lovely and made the entrance bigger for us as we have an 8metre camper.
The area is secured by a chain with a combination lock; I received the code by email, or you can pay at the guesthouse and get it there (check opening hours). You need levelling chocks because the area is slightly sloped. We had a quiet night. Once darkness fell, the nearby road also became quiet. The view, the many hiking trails and the nearby forest are fantastic.
The parking area is reserved for motorhomes, hence the barrier chain with combination lock. Otherwise, the area would be full of cars. Register at the café.
I agree with the comment below. It is NO LONGER a motorhome stop; the area is closed off.
