Beachside parking, access restriction

Before reaching the basketball court, there is a no-through-road sign. It probably applies only to the paved road. Locals drive past on the right along the sandy track. The basketball court itself cannot be used. This must once have been a thriving holiday resort, but now everything is abandoned. You can drive much farther along the sandy track, where there is a “beach.” Locals park there, including larger vehicles.

Lovely place, with bar and restaurant and at least one well stocked little shop. Didn't park on the baseball court just in case locals wanted to play, but found a quiet corner in the village with consent from a resident. No services.

We stopped 500 metres farther east on the “beach” for total tranquillity. Perfect for dogs and easy to access with two-wheel drive. Good 4G with A1 Telekom. Stunning 360-degree views. No litter.

Stayed by the hotel with a view of the lake. Had a delicious meal at the hotel restaurant. It was quiet at this time of year, and the whole place looks a little run-down. But the children had great fun in the playground, and it was perfect for one night!

Parked near hotel Riva, a reasonably priced restaurant, open long hours. Friendly owner who allowed us to fill water, charge phones and use wifi. If you park close enough wifi works in motorhome. No services, there are taps nearby but no water came out. Need bikes to explore around the lake.
