247 Derrière l'Église, 09110, Savignac-les-Ormeaux
Been here?
A flat, small gravel parking area with no shade and space for about two vans or one motorhome. Parking is limited to 48 hours, with no services, and the nearby campsite can be audible until 23h; after that, it is very quiet. Three ponds and a river are close by, with walking opportunities, and a supermarket is a little farther away.

Little space, flat, no shade.
The spot was occupied by some suspicious-looking people.
Perfect for us for one night. There were two vans on the spot. You can hear activities at the neighboring campsite until 11 p.m. After that it is very quiet. The three ponds and the river are very close if you want to cool off.
Very good place, very quiet. Good internet coverage, no services.
It is true that it is no longer grass but gravel, but we spent a quiet night. It is behind a campsite; there is some noise in the evening but not at night. What a pleasure to swim in the river, heading toward the ponds!
Unfortunately, the pictures no longer show the place you find today. It is now a small dirt area with building materials around it. We did not like it and drove on.
this is now a dirt carpark with rubble etc on it. doesn't look nice but great place to park our high top van for a very quiet night. local supermarket is well stocked up road and has a green point to dump rubbish. great dog walks by the fishing lakes and nice and flat
Perfect for a quiet night, just for sleeping. Without the pile of rubble, the place would be more welcoming, but perhaps it is intentional. Ponds nearby with tables and barbecues; camping is prohibited.
Perfect for a very quiet night.
Flat and easy to access. Very good for a quiet night. Note the piles of earth, which reduce the capacity of the place, but perfect for two or three vans or one motorhome.
One of the few places in the area where we are allowed to park for a maximum of 48 hours. The nearby campsite is noisy in the evening, with music of varying volume. Easy to access and usable today. Pleasant walk around the ponds.
Certainly a beautiful place in summer. Today it was too muddy to drive onto with a 3.6-ton camper van. We found an alternative a little farther away.
A quiet place away from the village. We did not notice the main road or the campsite. A little farther on there is a nature park with lakes, a river, and seating. A very good place to walk the dog. Work starts in the industrial area next door on weekday mornings, but the night was absolutely quiet.
