Oberleukener Weg, 66706, Perl
Been here?
This is a quiet, shaded parking area at the edge of a wooded area, with walnut and cherry trees and remains of a Roman roadside settlement. The Roman Villa can be reached in 5 minutes on foot, and the area is suitable for walking. There are no services or rubbish bins, and the parking surface is slightly sloped. In heavy rain, parking on the grass may risk getting stuck.

Great place to spend the night, five minutes on foot from the Roman villa, very clean and very quiet! We only heard the dogs once or twice, and not very loudly.
A very beautiful little spot. Quiet and idyllic. I cannot understand the complaints about the lack of rubbish bins. This is a HIKERS' PARKING AREA! The fact that we are allowed to park here is not something to take for granted. There are countries where this is not allowed at all, and surely it is no problem to take your rubbish with you and dispose of it properly.
Shady, quiet parking area on the edge of the forest, with walnut and cherry trees among others. Remains of a Roman roadside station can be seen. Further on, 800 m away, you can visit a large Roman villa. A beautiful walk to get there. No rubbish bins. A Porsche parked next to us. The driver went for a walk and afterward left the wrapper from her energy bar as a thank-you.
Overnight stop, checked it was ok with office at Borg Roman villa. Quiet night. No services. We spent a day at the villa it was very interesting and enjoyable. Also peaceful walking round the gardens.
After a lovely hike and a visit to the Roman villa, we had a very pleasant and peaceful evening and night. Take care of this beautiful place.
We have just arrived at this parking area. It is slightly sloping, so check your levels carefully to position yourself properly. The bird field is very pleasant. I am editing my comment to tell you that we had a very, very good night. This well-maintained site is excellent!
A very quiet night. We were the only ones here.
A remote place. There was only us. Be careful: during periods of heavy rain, there is a risk of getting stuck in the mud because parking is theoretically on grass. We parked on the path. There is a dog that howls very late into the night. Otherwise, a very quiet night.
Open view, slightly sloping ground, very quiet, ideal for hiking and/or visiting the Roman Villa.
Amazingly calm and safe, with plenty of space for parking.
Clean and quiet place, in a beautiful natural setting as well. We spent a night without being disturbed by any passing traffic.
I spent one night here and thought it was great. I was completely alone. It was very clean. I did not notice any noise at all. The short walk to the villa was lovely, but unfortunately the restaurant was already closed. Check the museum's opening hours.
Very quiet. We were completely alone. No rubbish bins; there were two rubbish bags attached to a lamp post, which was not a problem. There is a chicken farm nearby. The chickens were quiet, but a technical installation there emitted a high-pitched humming sound. Earplugs are advisable for sensitive ears. I slept very well and think this place is wonderfully located.
Good for walks, little traffic, but quite a bit of rubbish, probably because there are no rubbish bins. A larger chicken farm next door is also fairly noisy.
We had a quiet night here. The nearby chicken farm makes some noise in the evening but is quiet again at night. Unfortunately, there is no waste disposal, which is why there are occasional rubbish piles. The villa can be reached by a pleasant path through the forest.
We really enjoyed the wonderful peace and quiet here. There are even a few marked hiking trails. Fresh eggs, €2.50 for ten, and delicious pasta from the vending machine. Please do NOT behave as if camping; only park your motorhome so this place can be preserved. Thank you.
Nice place, but right next to an industrial chicken farm and a biogas plant. Lots of insects, pitches on grass, avoid in wet weather. We did not stay.
Shops ten minutes away. Very quiet night; we recommend it.
Quiet overnight stay. Pleasant, airy, and clean site. Single-lane access with passing places. Tour buses also come to the parking area for the archaeological park. Wonderful night sky.
Very quiet, with several mountain-bike and hiking routes nearby, as well as the Borg villa.
Beautiful place, quiet and isolated. It can be slightly muddy when it rains because the ground is grass. Very spacious.
Very, very quiet place; we were completely alone. Great egg vending machine nearby for fresh eggs. The toilet was no longer open, only during the Roman garden's opening hours. It is easy to level the camper. The streetlights did not shine at night, which can be seen as either good or bad.
Quiet overnight stay, 800 m on foot to the villa.
I expected a quieter night, but the planes and church bells could be heard loudly from 6:15 in the morning.
Arrived here today at a beautiful parking area. Visiting Villa Borg was really great and it is not far away. Anyone giving two stars because the ground is not level should go to a campsite.
Great quiet parking area for one night and a visit to Villa Borg. Small parking area directly in front of the villa. Motorhomes should park on the grass by the information board. Hiking trails lead directly to the Roman site in 10 minutes. Worth it.
We were just there; it was impossible to park level.
