Shaded parking, busy mornings

Quiet place to sleep in the shade. There are not many spaces, and in the morning it fills up mainly with hikers' cars, so it is better to arrive late. There are no facilities.

Peaceful night despite two cars passing during the night. A few walkers early in the morning.

Springtime: I spent one night there without any problems. Very little traffic, but a few people were out walking despite the rain that day.

The place matches all the comments made previously. Unfortunately, at around 7 in the morning the police woke us up and said we could not stay there, so we had to leave :(

Parking well away from the center; it is a small parking lot, not a large one. Otherwise, if empty, it is a pleasant place. The small car spaces are not very suitable for motorhomes.

Good spot near Girona. We spent the night there, but in the morning we were woken by many people, around 7 a.m., when a group of hunters met in the area. Good internet connection.

Great stop for a night. Very peaceful. Quite a few early local arrivals for walking but no bother to us as we have kids that are up early too. If you plan to walk to town be warned it is very hilly and dirt/rocky tracks

Perfect for sleeping peacefully in the middle of nature. Starting point for walks, jogging and visiting Girona. Several locals come here to walk and exercise.

Quite, easy acess, no one with us during the night. Very nice place. Picnicarea 200m above.

Very convenient spot to visit Girona. The city centre is just 1km away so easy to ride your bike into town. The car park isn’t too big and there’s a lot of hikers and cyclists going back and forth during the day but at night it’s super quiet. Spent two nights here while gravel riding with friends in Girona and it was great.

Although we spent the night here because we arrived late, many locals come here to run and walk. We left very early because we did not think it was right to take the parking space away from the locals. If a small camper is here, it is already too much...

Nice place, quiet at night. A few cars, bicycles and walkers passed by. We were woken early by cars belonging to joggers and hikers. No facilities. Watch out for mosquitoes!

Quiet place in nature where we slept together with two other vans. Frequently used by hikers, but we had no problems in the morning. Close to the historic center, BUT be careful: it is more than 15 minutes on foot to the town center, and the road through the woods from the cemetery to the parking area, about 5 minutes, is not lit.

We spent the night of December 27 with two other vans. We arrived at 7 p.m. and parked in the only available space; then the cars leave in the morning. The tables are about 200 meters away. Everything is in the middle of nature.

Quiet place in the middle of nature and still close to the center. During the day, many cars park there for hiking, so we sometimes left the car in the center and drove back in the evening. At night we were alone or with one other camper.
