Beach parking, unclear payment

Nice spot to visit the village and reach the beach in a few minutes. We slept with another two motorhomes and felt safe. No noise at night, but the restaurant customers come and go from the parking until after 11pm. Car park is empty usually in the afternoon until evening when restaurant customers arrive. It is paid in summer season (Jun-Sept) and takes a degree to manage to pay. No one checks.✦Translating

Fairly quiet place, with a little noise just when restaurants close. No safety issues and not far from the beaches. There were about five of us here that evening. Tip: if you want to swim with children, facing the sea, continue left for about 1.5 km. There is a sandy beach with a breakwater in the middle to reduce the waves.✦Translating

Quiet, free parking with many spaces near a pine forest. No water point. A few minutes from the beach. There is also a public beach with showers, but it is quite far to walk.✦Translating

Very quiet parking area. We used it from Sunday to Monday for an overnight stay before the ferry (Livorno about 20 minutes away). From 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. we paid only €2.50 in June. Fantastic! After a day in Pisa, this is an ideal place to stop by the sea. We were here with three other campers; the parking area was quiet and felt safe. Free out of season, with a charming little village and a lovely pebble beach.✦Translating

Very satisfactory place to spend the night and quickly access the seafront. Playground directly accessible, very useful with young children. We spent Easter Sunday night; by 8:30 a.m. on Easter Monday the parking area was full for a football match. No toilets.✦Translating

Okay for smaller motorhomes and vans, but rather unsuitable for larger ones. Away from the blue parking spaces there is a lot of rubbish and an unpleasant smell. But the location, 500 m from the sea and the bars and restaurants, is really good.✦Translating
