Been here?
Plomeur offers free parking near Pointe de la Torche beach, approximately 500 metres away. The site has no services and parking is limited and often crowded. The beach is large but busy with surfers; no shade is available. It is quiet at night but experiences daytime traffic noise. A crêperie and public toilets are within walking distance.

Terrible! Several vans parked and spread out as if they were camping, so there was no space! And they were not French.Translating
Nothing more than a crowded dirt parking lot… But the only solution for staying overnight by the sea.Translating
Good location close to the beach. A little road noise, but reasonable. Indeed, out of respect for everyone, please park your vehicles properly.Translating
Please do not park lengthwise and take three spaces for a single van. It is basic respect, especially in such a popular parking lot… We did not stay.Translating
I do not understand the five-star reviews. There is enough space, but it is a 10-minute walk to the beach, which, although large, is completely overrun with surf schools and surfers. The beach and water are also full of foul-smelling algae, and there is no shade. There are much better beaches 30 km farther north.Translating
We spent two nights there (a July weekend) with no problems finding parking. Quiet place, about 500 meters from the beach. The bins are near the bars. Kilometre-long beach. Ideal for surfing, cycling, and watching the sunset from the beach. Worth coming back!Translating
Very well-located spot, with enough spaces for camping vehicles of any size. A crêperie and toilets are about five minutes away. There are many surfers on the beach, as well as surf shops. Very quiet at night; quite busy during the day (late June). But there really are enough pitches, so please do not squeeze in between the two picnic tables…Translating
Five stars for the location, very close to the beaches, and the possibility of spending the night. One star for the selfish people who park for their own advantage—taking up space and spreading out—stealing places from those who could use them. After me, the deluge, I suppose! It says a lot.Translating
Thanks to the municipality for allowing us to park in this well-located parking area. Very busy, but we managed to find a space on the grassy area. Some spots have sea views but are highly sought-after. Very beautiful beach and a GR hiking trail nearby.Translating
Motorhome parking area without services, well located for the coast and cycling to Eckmühl lighthouse. However, it is noisy during the day because of cars; otherwise, quiet at night. Thank you to the municipality.Translating
Quiet at night, with a view of the beach at Pointe de la Torche. Some traffic during the day and exposed to the wind.Translating
A truly great spot! A few pitches for campers, not too far from the beach. Many hiking trails. No services, but there is a public toilet nearby. The parking area is very clean; I love that everyone takes their rubbish with them. The road is not loud at night. The paths can get a little muddy after rain.Translating
good spot for access to the point and nearby Creperie, no services in the immediate vicinity but just a short walk to a toilet. next to the road but little traffic after 11pm. had a good night there and really made the most of its proximity to the beautiful beach!
Quiet, free, flat… No services, but great for walking or cycling and spending a good night. Quite a lot of traffic during the day, but very quiet at night.Translating
Construction work in the parking area, but not at the weekend. Parking close to Pointe de la Torche. Very peaceful. We spent a good night there.Translating
Great place for surfing. Nice and quiet, and spacious enough for large motorhomes. About 10 minutes to the beach. They are currently improving the site, but improving it is better than demolishing it. This is our second time here, so thanks to the municipality for keeping this place available for campers.Translating
Ideal spot for a beautiful sunset and a walk along the coast. Also perfect for visiting Sarl Kaandorp to buy flower bulbs or enjoy the flower fields in early spring (tulips…). No amenities and the road is a little noisy, but knowing that in advance, it was not a problem for us.Translating
Ideal spot for visiting Pointe de la Torche, watching the sunset, walking along the coast, or visiting the flower fields 1.5 km away. The road has little traffic at night. Part of the parking area is currently being used for water-service construction, so there is some noise from 8 a.m.Translating
Good for visiting Pointe de la Torche, but too close to the road for sleeping.Translating
Superb spot, visited on December 3, 2026. The parking area is huge but spoiled by the behavior of some people who treat it like a squat, with loose dogs and music outside… This is the kind of behavior that leads to barriers being installed everywhere.Translating
We spent a pleasant night here. It is a parking area without services, directly beside a road on which a car passes from time to time. The surface itself is reasonably level. We did not need leveling blocks. The short distance to Pointe de la Torche is a positive.Translating
Thanks to the municipality for leaving places like this where we can park just a stone's throw from Pointe de la Torche. Magnificent walks along the coast.
Pleasant spot, without services but very quiet, and the walk from the point is an absolute must.
It has the merit of existing; perfect for walks along the seaside.
Parking without services, close to Pointe de la Torche. Small view over Audierne Bay and the dunes. Quiet night.
A parking area with toilets nearby and a superb surf spot. We stayed there for three nights. The road is quiet at night.
Parking area for visiting Pointe de la Torche, with its beautiful waves where surfers have a great time. We spent a very quiet night; the parking area was practically full. We recommend it.
We spontaneously stayed here for one night. Apparently it is already the off-season, and there is plenty of space. We ate very well at Rayon Vert.
