Crêt de Lernier et la Perr, 25370, Métabief
Been here?
A spacious, stable and clean motorhome area in the mountains at 1’020 m, with a beautiful view and a quiet setting near Morond. The fee is €16/24h, including 6 A electricity, water and waste disposal, plus €5 for lifetime network access. The ski resort is 1.5 km away with shuttles, while hiking, mountain biking and a pump track are nearby. Flies from the opposite riding centre can be bothersome, and the entrance barrier may be difficult to operate; there is no toilet on site.

Great place. Good starting point for hiking and biking. Chairlift easily reachable on foot (1.5 km). Public toilet by the pump track. The only negative point: almost no vehicle could open or close the barrier. It worked eventually with help from the hotline.Translating
Quite a large, stable and clean parking area. My motorhome and trailer measure 12 m and I had plenty of space. It's just a shame there isn't at least a toilet.Translating
Very beautiful place where you can enjoy adventures with the children just a stone's throw away and also go mountain biking. There is also a beautiful pump track 2 minutes away by bike. You really have to ignore the flies, but the site is worth it. We will gladly return.Translating
July 11–13, 2026: €16/24h including 6 A electricity, water and waste disposal. A practical site in the French Jura at 1,020 m. In the middle of a mountain-biking and downhill-riding paradise. You have to ignore the many flies from the riding stable opposite. The cable-car station is about 2 km away. I recommend the site and would gladly return.Translating
I'm looking for shade. But here you pay, and there is no shade... I don't need electricity or water. So what are we paying for here?Translating
Quiet and pleasant mountain aire. Beautiful view, 28 minutes from the village center.Translating
Terrible, terrible, terrible!!!! After water outages due to freezing, electricity outages at 6 A for some unknown reason. A parking area for fools who like being fleeced without bleating.Translating
Quiet aire with all services working. Hiking trails nearby. Free shuttles to the heart of the resort, otherwise a 20-minute walk. A grocery store in the resort, or supermarkets (Intermarché and Super U) 4 km away, following Hôpitaux-Neufs. Shame that it is raining, as the little snow melts quickly. Cinema in the center.Translating
Beautiful view but far from everything. Quite expensive for being isolated, plus an entrance fee: a €5 card... Nature and walks are becoming complicated with Camping-Car Park... I avoid it.Translating
Spacious stabilized site. Magnificent view away from the village. A little lacking in shade for summer. Nice, perfect.Translating
For lack of anything better in the area, a quiet aire with services even in winter. But really not picturesque.Translating
It's true that the aire is far from the village, but what a joy to be somewhere quiet.Translating
Wake up, friends: these aires deprive us of our freedom by locking access to nature spots. What should be a simple rest stop becomes a costly hassle, often poorly maintained. Avoid it if you want to remain masters of your freedom!!Translating
The aire is too far from the village center for my taste; otherwise the services work very well. As for the view, it depends on the pitch: there isn't necessarily one, and it's better not to arrive late in high season if you want a good spot.Translating
Camping-Car Park aire with all amenities nearby. Three stars because there is no shade in summer and there are odors from the riding club 30 m away. A shame, because there are beautiful walks nearby and many mountain-bike routes.Translating
Full sun, far from shops (a 20-minute walk, also in full sun). Nothing special.Translating
Simply exceptional. Magnificent view. The gate opened as if they were expecting us. Wi-Fi worked for several devices, and electricity was available. To top it off, without knowing it, we were right in the middle of a festival (Festival de la Paille). Brilliant, and at a very affordable price.Translating
Excellent parking area, with various activities nearby: hiking, mountain biking and tree climbing for the whole family. Quite full parking area, with bins, including for glass.Translating
Nice motorhome aire, not paved, with a view of the village. Easy to access, and the possibility of booking through the website is very convenient!Translating
Quiet, level aire, very well located for hikers and mountain bikers. Services work, and there are recycling bins and rubbish bins on site. But the glass container is 400 m away, which is unacceptable... The pitches are not marked, which must cause serious problems when it is busy... Shops are a little far away and the price is standard Camping-Car Park, therefore expensive...Translating
Reasonably quiet camper site at about 1,000 m elevation. During the hot month of June 2025 it was somewhat cooler, though there were quite a lot of flies from the nearby riding school. In this winter-sports village, almost everything is closed in summer, but there is a good laundry.
Quiet area, beautiful surroundings, little shade. Fine for spending the night and pleasantly cool.
Since the previous comment, there is water again. Quite a few spaces but little shade. Quiet; the nights are peaceful.
Actually a great place. We had a distant view and sunset at the edge. Unfortunately there is no water. Therefore, compared with the nearby campsite, we find the price too high (only a €2 difference).
Relaxing motorhome aire. Very nice place for walking and cycling. Wi-Fi is offered, but it was impossible to connect, so there was no internet.
December 29: site limited to 17 spaces because Camping-Car Park has not cleared snow from 21 of them. No water. Electricity supposedly under voltage according to previous occupants. It is a real shame that Métabief does not manage this great opportunity itself to promote the town for tourism, especially at €15 per night.
We have been here since December 22. No snow clearance, and the same for the road. Obviously no water either. We probably won't return to this site in future years; it is too complicated here with a motorhome.
Parking site with a great view. The tractor comes every day to clear the snow. Waste disposal is difficult. The cassette-toilet disposal works.
Beautiful view but no snow clearance and no water. What a shame.
I contacted Camping-Car Park. The part needed to repair the service pedestal has been ordered; they were supposed to receive it soon... It's expensive for a parking area without services! Outrageous.
No water; black-water disposal works.
Nice aire at the foot of hiking trails. However, apparently there has been no water for 15 days. Thank you, Camping-Car Park, for your responsiveness. Good at charging for services that don't work. Unacceptable.

Arrived in the evening and parked quietly, though rather unromantically, between parked trucks belonging to a freight company (Saturday to Sunday). There is a flea market at Ikeda just around the corner in the morning, and by bicycle you can quickly reach the Hunte and the city to visit it. Excellent for this purpose if you are self-sufficient.
