Been here?
A large parking area near Tryfan, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and Llyn Ogwen. It has plenty of room and accommodates XLWB vans, but a sign states that overnight camping is not allowed. The area can become busy with vans and walkers, road noise varies, and there is no phone connection.

Good Parking, but note there is a sign saying ‘No overnight camping’!
Picturesque park up! Stayed here for one night on a surprisingly warm November evening. The spot is in a great location and clearly not a well kept secret - it was already fairly busy when we arrived, and by morning it was completely filled with van-lifers and walkers getting an early start.
This particular car park has no-camping signs; all the others do not. I am not sure whether it is related to the amount of rockfall near it.Translating
Beautiful place to stay with views of the lake and mountains. There are at least three car parks on this road so plenty of space. When we stayed there were about 6 vans in total. No WiFi signal on Tesco mobile.
We’ve stayed here on a few occasions now and think this is a great spot! Some gorgeous views, easy access to walks and Llyn Owen. It’s nice to be set back a little from the road as opposed to being in a lay by (though the road is relatively quiet). Never had any trouble getting a space. A good experience all round!
Great place to stay—so good that I proposed to my wife here :)Translating
The views were amazing, and I had one of my best nights’ sleep here. Road noise was minimal and the other users were quiet and respectful. The car park was not full and was clean and tidy. Would recommend.Translating
Excellent location however intermittent traffic noise all night, some of it heavy. Bring ear plugs.
Stayed for one night with no issues. Plenty of space and couldn’t hear road noise from A5. Great base for nearby walks into the hills or even the local town.
