Asphalt site, limited availability

Large asphalt motorhome pitch. No shade, but electricity and water at the pitch. Some permanent residents with peculiar behavior. Washing machine in front of the site; hopefully very few of them pay for their stay. The operator could make more of the site by removing the rubbish along the fence and providing shade and comfort.

The facilities work, with water and electricity at the pitch. There is no shade and the site is not attractive. A cycle path is right at the entrance for walks through very beautiful areas with flamingos and lagoons. Although it costs €2 more, I recommend the Palavas area.

Lovely site with vineyards and a pond in front, and an arena behind, with all services for €20/24h (cheaper in Frontignan), 4 km from the beach via the Pilou footbridge. 40 large, delimited pitches. Beautiful bike rides via the cycle route or cycle path toward Palavas (8 km) or Frontignan (15 km). Supermarket and shops 2 km away in Villeneuve. Rubbish and recycling containers are at the entrance.

The site is fine for visiting Montpellier. Just under €18 for one night with water and electricity. You book before the barrier, at the hut on the right. It took about 45 minutes to get into the city by bus (line 32) and tram (line 4), which is quite manageable. Otherwise, the site is rather desolate. Apparently some people also live there in their campers.

The best things are that the barrier is open and there is electricity. We paid, but it was apparently unnecessary because the gate never seems to close. It looks like people live there permanently in their motorhomes. The village has no particular attraction, but the walk around the pond is great at sunset. The black-water disposal area was blocked when we arrived.

This is a place for everyone over 2 m and over 2 tons! I searched for almost an hour. It is not pretty here, but quiet and practical. You can quickly reach the water for a walk.

Stayed on February 9. Quiet and well located near the cycle paths. Many permanent residents park on this site with their cars.

A very good, paved site with a walk toward the pond. The only downside is that every regular brings their car in, which greatly reduces the number of spaces. What a shame; there is a lack of municipal supervision.

Parking with large pitches and services. However, the black-water disposal area is in deplorable condition. Magnificent site to visit and a nice little restaurant near the cathedral. Be aware that there are footbridge opening times for reaching the cathedral. You must enter your code even if the barrier is wide open. We were stuck inside and no one at the town hall answered us.

Apparently, the site is accommodating more and more permanent residents who do not follow the rules issued by the municipality, namely parking cars and vans outside. They also bring noise pollution, music and shouting, not to mention dumping waste outside the designated area. The municipality should react.

We have been coming for many years and always enjoy spending a week here over New Year. The salt marsh walk by bike is an absolute must. Also do the tour of the ponds via Palavas, the cathedral and the Pilou footbridge. The only unacceptable and disrespectful downside is that some motorhomes, especially those who stay permanently, dump their wastewater directly on the ground so they do not have to move.

What a shame that some people have made this their home and play their music so loudly. They also simply dump their wastewater where they are parked. Otherwise, I like coming here.

The site seems very good, with a large space for each motorhome and an electrical hookup. See a previous comment for the accessories needed. Pay attention to the available pitches; do not rely on the machine, go and check before paying. Full on the evening of the 30th.

Excellent site, well located, with all services for €16. A lovely discovery of the village and the cathedral of Maguelone.

Fantastic parking with good facilities. The walk to the Cathedral was excellent. Good place to park up on a trip around the coast. Would use again!

To connect your van, you need a CEE P17 blue adapter for your van and also one for the main socket, so you need two. Personally, I only have one. I have just paid €16 to sleep here but cannot connect to electricity, so I am leaving. #vanlifehassle

Pleasant site; we stayed for 2 nights and paid €16 per 24 hours, despite the barrier being out of order. Water and electricity included at every pitch. Everything faces the ponds to the south, with a cycle path nearby. Rubbish bins close by. Nothing to complain about. The site is also equipped with cameras at the exit. Extraordinary sunsets and sunrises. We will do it again.

Access to the site is open and it seems possible to enter without paying. Electricity and water connections at every pitch. Some people have clearly settled here for a longer period, with a washing machine and clutter next to their motorhome.

We couldn't pay for parking with 3 different credit cards. The system rejected everything, so we couldn't even get in.

Very nicely located site with electricity and water, as well as disposal facilities. The best starting point for short bike rides or visiting the pretty town. 24 hours is really fair. Payment is straightforward. At the payment hut, you must enter the code to drive in, then move forward so the gate opens. The keypad inside is only for exiting. We would gladly return.

A large paved parking area—not exactly dreamy—but the delimited spaces are spacious for a seaside location. The area is ideal for bike rides. When you leave, nobody asks whether your departure is permanent, so your space remains marked as occupied until the ticket expires. This can disappoint people who want to return but are turned away because the site is supposedly full.

Great spot! Stayed 3 nights for €42 ish can’t remember exactly how much which included electric. Right oppose great for our dog to walk and see flamingos. Great water dump and toilet waste dump and refill water at your pitch! Would return!

We arrived and it indicated that there were 6 free spaces, but all the pitches were occupied. We had to park badly to fill the water, then move to the side to spend the night. Some people live there permanently, so some pitches are always occupied. It has grey- and black-water drainage and electricity, which we could not use because we did not have a pitch.

€17.72 for one night for 2 people. Water at every pitch, disposal facilities and electricity included. We arrived to spend one night after unsuccessfully touring half of the Camargue. Is it expensive? I don't think so. The other places in the area are expensive for what they offer and charge more.

Very quiet and peaceful parking area. Possibility to fill and empty tanks. The sea is 3 km away via a cycle path, with a nearby village. Nothing special, but perfect for stopping for one night.

Automatic motorhome area, €20 per day including water and electricity at the box next to the parking area. No toilets or showers. Asphalt surface with service point. 3 km away, with a free train to Plage du Pilou.

The gate is currently open; repairs are scheduled for May 28. In this heatwave, you need fans or, better, air conditioning because it is all asphalt, with no shade or trees. But there is water at every pitch, so you can wet yourself down.

Quiet, flat, with water, electricity and disposal facilities, but still €21/24h. The important point is that the gate is broken, so it remains open all the time.

I always give this site this rating despite a price that is becoming prohibitive. At the moment the barrier remains open, so how many people have actually paid the fee? Soon there will be more cars than motorhomes. At the moment it is a real house party. Make the cars pay. Such a lack of discipline and consideration!

Quiet. We stayed here for 2 nights; with a direct bus to Montpellier and then the metro, you are right in the heart of the city. There is enormous biodiversity around the parking area, ideal for enjoying nature peacefully.
