We were alone on a weekend in June. Great place, close to the bathing area. Rubbish bins are available.

The parking area is under construction, but it is possible to park farther on. It is quiet. Since it was raining, there was no traffic. Rubbish bins at the “beach” and good 4G reception.
The place is clean and perfectly fine if you need nothing. We also saw fireflies! Thanks to the person who mentioned that. Magical—just go out into the woods behind the site when the sun sets.
I spent a stormy night here, but it was still much better than up by the road, where branches were breaking off the trees. The meadow at the end of the path was not muddy either. All in all, a good place for a quiet night on the road.
