A large, quiet car park beside an ancient Abbey, cemetery and a tidal sea inlet, with no facilities. The paved area is flat, but the approach is a narrow 400m lane and access must remain clear for local residents and farm traffic. The tide rises quickly and can cover the lower parking area, so stay on the higher ground. The Abbey, coastal views and wildlife make it a peaceful stop.

A quiet beautiful stopover. An ancient Abbey, a pair of swans, a grey heron and even an early morning hare. Evening "entertainment" was a local farmer bringing back his bales across low tide path. No signs to say no overnight. No facilities. A perfect spot. Respect the space and it will stay available.
A lovely stopover, beautiful views and a ruined Friary. Don't get caught out with the tide, it rises fast and high up the car park, we watched someone move 3 times. Also, locals need access to the private road at the end. The bins in the cemetery are for flower waste - DO NOT USE! Witnessed a German van cramming their waste in. This behaviour will result in No Overnight signs!!
Lovely quiet spot. Several other visitors and dog walkers. 2 other campers the night we stopped. Be careful not to park too close to the bottom - the tide comes in further than you think!
Very quiet place beside the water but also next to a cemetery. There were three motorhomes that night. Be careful not to park on the grass too close to the water; stay on the concrete because the water rises with the tide.
Beautiful spot next to a stream, just a few steps from the abbey. Very quiet neighbours!
Flat paved parking area. The 400 m access road from the main road is a little narrow but rarely used. Very peaceful, next to the ruins and a beautiful arm of the sea.
I can highly recommend this pitch. Relatively busy with locals, in the evenings and early in the morning too. On a fine day, it is lovely to linger at the abbey.
nice stop over. quiet enough but at times it seemed like a lot of traffic for a dead end road. no one bothered us and they didn't make any noise but it was like a main road at times through the evening :D Internet was good and the Abbey itself is lovely to see
5 stars as it is exactly as described. When we stopped the wind was blowing a gale and we had heavy rain, so was a little oasis from the severe weather, some wind but relatively sheltered. Abbey is interesting to walk around and nice views. CAUTION do not park at the end as this is a turn around area and at some HIGH tides the water can come across the road. Park further back up road. We 2.1m tide
Very beautiful and peaceful. Be careful, the tide can rise quite high and cover the lower part of the parking area... It is better to park higher up.
