Monifieth Marine Drive is free daytime parking directly beside the beach, with attractive sunset views. A diner and breakfast facility are 100 m away, and a nearby residential centre and playground provide additional amenities. Overnight parking is prohibited, and access for taller vehicles is only via Marine Drive because of a height restriction on Union Street.

Very beautiful place, peaceful, with a wonderful view. Picnic table, rubbish bin and water. We did not see any electricity, though we did not need it.
Very nice place during the day, right on the beach. Nearby residential area and playground. Due to the height restriction, access is only via Marine Drive, not Union Street.
