This is a level lakeside wild spot near the Kjerag, with plenty of space and excellent swimming. The nearby road has little traffic at night, and mobile reception is limited. Access includes a steep, uneven drop or sharp edge that can ground vehicles with low clearance, especially older motorhomes. The sandy beach may be dangerously soft, and mosquitoes can appear in the evening.

Very beautiful, level place with lots of space. There was one van when we arrived. Little network coverage. Be careful when entering: vehicles with low ground clearance may scrape or get stuck.
Beautiful spot, watch the entrance: very uneven and you could ground out. Lovely swimming.
Difficult to negotiate with an older motorhome because of the steep descent. We drove on. Otherwise, a nice place.
Watch your step when driving down the sharp edge!!!! Apart from that, a beautiful place to stay before continuing the next day, for example to Kjerag.
Super beautiful parking spot right by the water. The road is nearby but there is little traffic at night. Access is somewhat difficult because of an edge/drop, but we managed it with a 6.4-meter Fiat Ducato; it was tricky though. Perfect for swimming in the lake. A few mosquitoes appeared in the evening. Otherwise everything was great.
Quiet place by the water, and you can even drive a little farther, so you are more sheltered on the beach. Little or no internet. Note: the turn-off is quite steep!
Beautiful and peacefully located. The lake is freezing cold but still a dream. Ideal if you are on your way to Kjerag.

Wonderful location, right by the water. Be careful in the rain, as it becomes muddy. The access road has a small step, so be careful not to scrape the underside.
Beautiful place, very quiet and the lake is super cold but refreshing after all. However, I would not recommend to drive onto the sandy beach. The sand is like quicksand and our van had to be towed. We were the first of approximately 20-30 each season ;-) This was by far our most expensive camp site in Norway but because we loved it so much we spent 2 nights.
A beautiful corner to linger in. It is wonderful that something like this is possible. It is crazy and completely incomprehensible how some campers (our immediate predecessor) behave!!!! Shame on you!!!! No wonder places like this get closed!
Simply wonderful place. But I agree with previous comments about the mess left by others, especially when it comes to toilet paper.
Lovely place, quite full in high season (more than six spaces). Indeed, the people enjoying the place could learn to dig a hole, or at least burn the paper and hide the rest (there are plenty of stones and vegetation). Little mobile network coverage.
Paradisiacal beach?! But it is still so appalling to find all this toilet paper there?
