Convenient because it is close to the motorway to Spain, with a stop near the beach, a food truck, a beautiful view of the cliff above, and a friendly welcome. But too expensive for what is offered: €50 for four people with a tent and a car. No shade and no electricity. Noisy because of the road. Clean but old sanitary facilities; remember to bring toilet paper. We would return in the shoulder season, though.✦Translating

Very well-maintained campsite. I love the old-fashioned style of the sanitary facilities, which some people criticize. There is a small beach a 10-minute walk away, right by the bay. You may be lucky enough to see the dolphin that lives there. Plan a jet-ski trip to see it. Have a good stay.✦Translating

Very well located, great welcome, and the beaches of Socoa and Ciboure are easily accessible via a pedestrian path with uphill and downhill sections. The sanitary facilities are indeed outdated but functional and well maintained. The pitches are large, some with little shade.✦Translating

The campsite is clean and well maintained overall. The staff were friendly and the pitch we were given was nice and large. However the facilities, described as outdated on here, were in my opinion a little worse than outdated. There is also no shop on site other than a food truck, which did seem to do nice food.

We arrived without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. The site itself is nice; the sanitary facilities are very rustic, but have a certain charm and were always clean. Unfortunately, the beach sections are somewhat farther away and quite small. There was a snack bar directly on site, and there were also lovely restaurants in the village below. We spent one night here in a converted van. Very friendly and pleasant welcome. The sanitary facilities are admittedly a little old-fashioned, but very clean. Campsite very well located, 500 m from the port and Socoa Fort via a pleasant little path, with several beaches, coves, bars, and restaurants. Old-fashioned but very, very clean sanitary facilities. Cold showers in June, but given the heat, that was fine. You can reach Saint-Jean-de-Luz by bike along the coast or walk 4–5 km. Pleasant outing. Very welcoming staff. Beautiful, well-maintained site. However, it is not shady. Almost all pitches are directly in the sun. The few trees are still very small. The cycle path into town is very steep and gravelly, recommended only for mountain bikes. No problem on foot. You can also take the road by bike.✦Translating

We spent two quiet nights here. Friendly staff. €24.70 per night with electricity, one van and two people. Well located for cycling to Saint-Jean-de-Luz; it climbs on the way back, but with electric bikes there is no problem. I recommend it and will return to this campsite.

I have just spent my first night here. Pleasant campsite with pleasant staff and a fantastic view. The showers and sanitary facilities are a little old-fashioned but clean, as they are regularly cleaned. A small path takes you to the beach, 500 m away. I am staying one more night and will certainly return.

Exactly the kind of campsite we like. No frills, everything nice and clean even if somewhat dated, and owners who run it with heart and soul. This place immediately went onto our favorites list. Very rustic campsite, but the showers have hot water and are individual cabins. No access to the sea. Cycling to Socoa via the coastal road is recommended. For walking, the marked path in the campsite is better. €19 with ACSI.

A beautiful campsite with spectacular views and a very peaceful atmosphere. Everything was very clean, and the pitches were spacious and well organized. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for disconnecting and enjoying nature! There is a path connecting the campsite with the village, which is very convenient. €24 for two people, a van and electricity.

We liked it very much: good price in the low season, simple and clean. You can walk down to the beach, and San Juan de Luz is 15 minutes away by bike. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets.

The campsite is in very decent condition; the facilities are quite acceptable and clean. Depending on the pitch, it can be slightly sloping. We paid €48 for two nights with a converted van. It may be a little expensive, but that is due to the location.

We returned to this campsite for the second time. It may be a little run-down, but it works perfectly well, we love it, and we will return. The highlight is the sunset over the coastal road!!!!!

One night is paid from noon to noon, but the campsite closes from noon to 2 p.m., so two hours are lost even though they are paid for. The parking area is too small to wait for opening. High prices once pets and children are added. Excellent food truck, but at 8 p.m. on a Saturday, more than three-quarters of the dishes were unavailable. Excellent pitches for visiting the area. Sloping campsite with no activities; nothing to do at the campsite.

An old campsite, which is especially noticeable in the toilets and showers. However, everything is clean. We stayed one night and walked briefly to the beach and the small town. Highly recommended.

The site is perfectly adequate. Some pitches are slightly sloping and the sanitary facilities are very dated but clean. You can walk to a beach in a small town near Saint-Jean-de-Luz in 10 minutes. €24.20 for two people.

Good value for money: €19 for a motorhome and two adults with electricity using ACSI. Pros: the price, it is a large campsite and there is always space, and the friendliness. Cons: sloping campsite, old but clean toilets and showers, no toilet paper, no bar in October, far from the village but with a bus stop at the entrance.

Handy stop on our way to Spain and bus stop outside for exploring St Jean de Luz. But facilities don’t look like they have been updated since the place opened and the washing up stations have luke warm water and nowhere to stack dishes.

This campsite is well situated, 50 meters from the sea and a beautiful village. For one night or more, it offers all the necessary services.

Beautiful campsite. You can walk to the beach, and the cliff offers a really lovely view, including for the sunset. We paid €24.20 for two people for one night without electricity.
