47 Promenade de l'Ariège, 09400, Tarascon-sur-Ariège
Been here?
A large riverside square suited to a quiet lunch or rest stop. A supermarket is a few meters away, Intermarché is nearby, and the town centre is 1.5km on foot by a cycle path. There is a paper and cardboard recycling point, with houses around the parking area and little traffic.

Quiet place for a lunch break by the water. A truck driver was taking a break there and a motorhome was also parked. No one said anything to us (see another review). Indeed, very little traffic. Campsite on the other side of the water. You can understand the residents if several motorhomes gather there! There is still a very accessible parking area at the entrance to the town.
As of this date, a municipal officer kindly asked us not to park in this spot anymore because the number of motorhomes is causing problems. It is indeed a residential neighborhood, not a car park.
Quiet place; very good for spending one night.
Large, quiet parking area by the water. Not much traffic; people return from work in the evening and leave in the morning. There are houses around. Paper and cardboard recycling point, nothing else. An Intermarché supermarket is nearby. We walked to the center in the evening, 1.5 km along a cycle path.
