Route des Remparts, 30130, Saint-Alexandre, Gard
Been here?
Free 3-space motorhome area with stunning valley views and very quiet setting. Includes grey-water, black-water disposal, and drinking water (all free). Public toilet on-site. Small historic village nearby with character but no shops. Spaces are narrow. Highly praised as rare free option with full services and peaceful surroundings.

Beautiful view, peaceful place.Translating
Area for free services and parking for three vehicles, with a superb view over the valley—rare these days. Thank you to the municipality.Translating
Thank you to the municipality for the free services. Beautiful view and a village worth visiting.Translating
A wonderful stopover. Extremely charming little town and a great view. There should be more lovely free places like this. We will definitely come back.Translating
Thank you to the municipality for allowing us free access to the services and parking. If the other areas could offer this too, as at Saint-Alexandre, it would be perfect. Very pretty characterful village with an unbeatable view.Translating
Three-space parking area with a beautiful view. Be careful: black water is emptied beside the bin shelter and grey water on the parking side. Thank you to the municipality for these services.Translating
Thank you to the municipality for this spot beside a pretty village.Translating
Pretty village and a very beautiful view. Very, very quiet and everything needed for services. There are only three spaces.Translating
Very good parking area. Very beautiful viewpoint, but the spaces are too narrow. No water for emptying toilet cassettes.Translating
Thank you to the municipality for welcoming us. The village is magnificent but has no shops. Everything needed is available at this area, and it is very quiet.Translating
Very beautiful place with a lovely view. Three spaces, with facilities for emptying grey and black water and filling up with fresh water. Thank you to the municipality for welcoming us.Translating
Quiet, friendly village with water, bins, and waste-disposal facilities.Translating
Beautiful view and lovely village. Very clean area. Bins available. Waste disposal possible. Black water is emptied at the top of the car park, near the area. Very quiet night. Please keep this place clean. Many thanks to the municipality for welcoming us so graciously.Translating
Thank you to the municipality for this peaceful area. There is currently no water. Unfortunately, a bastard emptied his toilet cassette near the bins.Translating
Quiet place, great view, but unfortunately the toilets are locked. Motorhome height is not a problem. Restaurant: reservation required.Translating
OK for a park up, no water and worse, the toilet waste is permanently out of commission. You can drop grey water.
Very nice place. Many thanks to the municipality!Translating
A little sloping but a dream location. I spent New Year's Eve here while passing through. It was worth it.Translating
Thank you to this small municipality for providing travellers with a parking area where all services are working. I agree with previous reviews about the narrow spaces; you quickly end up very close to your neighbours, but it works if everyone is respectful. Pretty little village that can be exposed to wind.Translating
Great view of a beautiful little village. Toilets and disposal facilities available.Translating
It was very good. Services available and working. We stopped for one quiet night to rest. It is next to a cemetery.
We stopped only to eat and empty our tanks, a rare service in the Gard. We thank the municipality for this free service and the magnificent view over the valley.
Very good for a stopover. The entrance to the area is immediately on the left when arriving. The parking spaces are very tight. A third vehicle arrived during the night after us, and we could no longer open our habitation door.
Between the church and directly beside the cemetery, with a beautiful view, although it is also right by the cemetery. Good water and waste facilities. However, motorhomes longer than 7 metres may have difficulty manoeuvring through the narrow entrance and tight parking area.
Magnificent, peaceful spot. Few spaces, so arrive early. Walks nearby and an inn. No other shops.
Great overnight spot. Quiet and everything you need is available. Unfortunately, only three spaces, so you need some luck! Wonderful view all the way to Mont Ventoux! Unfortunately, the highly praised restaurant is closed on Mondays and Wednesdays. We will return!
Small, peaceful, well-located area with toilets. At the entrance to a pretty little hilltop village with a splendid view over the Rhône valley. Many thanks to the municipality for this human-sized area, which we would like to see in many other villages. Motorhome travellers are ambassadors for local tourism and village communities.
We could not park here; the three spaces were occupied. They are also only car-width. The approach to the village and parking area is quite narrow. Great view.
Wonderful view. Very clean. Everything that makes you feel good is available. The absolute highlight is the local restaurant: LE BIENHEUREUX Five minutes on foot: The atmosphere and special selection of dishes are excellent. We will remember this for future trips.
Thank you to the municipality for this small area with all services free of charge, plus a very pleasant little town and a beautiful viewpoint. Travellers from Auvergne on the road.
Many thanks to the municipality for this superbly equipped motorhome area. The panorama is also magnificent. October 3, 2025, Patrick and Mauricette from Vendée.
Thank you, municipality. Quiet and clean place.
Really lovely place. Very quiet and recommended. Be careful, though: the three spaces are very close together, so respect your neighbours. Avoid waking up at 6 a.m. to sing or rearrange the motorhome; that is not respectful.
Small, somewhat narrow parking area, but it deserves credit for existing: suitable for two large motorhomes or three small ones. All services are available; black water must be emptied near the public toilets. Pretty village and lovely view over the cemetery wall. Large motorhomes should avoid it. The entrance is somewhat narrow and slightly sloping. Thank you to the municipality for this excellent facility.
Very clean and very quiet. Thank you, municipality.
