27 Circonvallazione S. Maria, 53017, Radda In Chianti
Been here?
This is a simple camper parking area close to Radda’s town centre, convenient for visiting the village. It is mostly level, slightly sloping, and has no services. Parking costs €1 per hour; payment is possible with EasyPark, while card payment at the meter has been unreliable. Some cars occupy spaces reserved for campers.

Convenient parking for visiting the city. You can pay with EasyPark. Too bad to find cars in a parking area reserved only for motorhomes.Translating
Parked here and stayed for the night. Very calm. The parkmeter did not work with cards. But cash (coins) was possible. I was also looking for a rubish bin.... And saw it in the rear mirror in the street beneath the camper parking when i left
The previous entry is incorrect: the parking costs €1 per hour. The meter worked; €12 covered only 12 hours until early morning, even now in November. For that price, the sloping site does not even offer a rubbish bin. We ate affordably and well at the pizzeria in town and then drove on to the mountain village of Volpaia. There, overnight parking is free and the site is level.Translating
Perfect for one night or visiting the enchanting town of Radda. In mid-October, no parking fee was due. The site is close to the town center, relatively quiet, easy to reach, and slightly downhill.Translating
It is not possible to pay for having no services at all!!Translating
Simple parking area for motorhomes, very close to the town center, paved, almost level, quiet, with a little greenery; also suitable for dog owners.Translating
I slept very well, a quiet and beautiful place next to the center of the small, lovely town. I did not pay anything, although there is a €12 daily parking fee; nobody paid, more cars came and went and did not pay either. No services, but good parking for visiting the town.Translating
A simple parking area, no services. Well located at the foot of the village. Its only advantage. €12 for 12 hours, barely one night.Translating
Beware of mirror-scam fraudsters by the roadside. They lie in wait for motorhomes and shoot the car with rubber bullets. A loud bang is heard. They then follow you and demand money for the alleged damage. Do not pay anything and call the police. They are after quick money. Take pictures of the car, license plate, and person, and report them to the police. That is the only way to get this under control.Translating
Small site below the town/village. No services, but perfectly fine for a quiet night ✅Translating
We did not sleep in the motorhome parking area but higher up below the ramparts near the toilets. No sign indicates that payment is mandatory. Very quiet at night, with a little more activity in the morning, as in a parking lot.Translating
I confirm what has already been said. Parking in an excellent location. The town is enchanting. The payment is excessive; the daily rate is €12. I do not think many people pay it, at least during the period we were there.Translating
We spent a very quiet night here. The town is just a few steps away, and there is a toilet nearby. But apart from tight pitches, the site offers nothing. It is too expensive for that, especially since the parking meter does not display 24 hours for €12 but only 12 hours. However, everyone ignored this.Translating
Convenient stopping area for visiting the town and spending the night. The payment system is absurd: the €12 daily rate expires at midnight, so you would have to go down and pay again then! Arriving late in the evening and inserting €12, we paid for 12 hours, until 10 in the morning. If this is fixed, four stars could be justified; it remains a parking area, so it is fine as it is.Translating
Radda is lovely. But this “sosta” is odd. Marked out for motor homes it costs 12 euros A DAY so overnight could cost you a lot more (and you’d have to get another ticket at midnight). As we have a tiny campervan we moved our van to the free car park next door at 8 am. But we had a reasonable nights sleep despite some cars being in the van car park). Clean public toilets nearby.
Peaceful and secluded place. Clean public toilets 30 meters away.Translating
