21 Kurfürstenallee, 87616, Marktoberdorf
Been here?
Marktoberdorf's motorhome area is a quiet parking space for four large RVs, with ten additional former car spaces nearby. Water and sewage disposal are directly opposite, and payment is made at the entrance machine. The electricity column has six connections at 50 cents/kWh but was reported defective in May 2026; water is unavailable in winter. Hiking routes and mountain views start nearby, although surrounding roadworks have affected access.

A very quiet place with water and waste disposal directly opposite. From here you can enjoy wonderful hikes with great views of the mountains.Translating
The parking lot is absolutely quiet; not even the church bells ring at night. It is accessible despite the construction work. Toilets are available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the cemetery's funeral hall.Translating
Beautiful camper site for four campers, but because the spaces fill up quickly, campers park in the opposite parking areas. The cost of €10.40 is very reasonable. Everything is available. It is very peaceful. Well organized by the municipality.Translating
The site can be reached despite the construction work; access is via Kurfürstenstraße. Very peacefully located, with many lovely walks in nature for dogs. Water and waste disposal are available for a small fee.Translating
The site cannot be reached because of construction work.Translating
The machine for cleaning the toilet was not working. There is construction nearby, and we only paid for the motorhomes. For cars it is free. It could be better given the space available.Translating
We went there as all nearby locations were full on weekend. The arrival road was closed but with some guidance from local people we found it. Spacious. Only 6 electric cables. Other services as in description.
Free area for cars but chargeable for motorhomes, with tourist tax. Electricity and water services are paid, as usual. Water is advertised at €1 per 100 liters, but on site it is €2.50. Thanks for the welcome. Bins and waste disposal are free, which softens my assessment; rinsing costs extra. That said, it is very quiet, clean, level, and close to the town center. I would recommend it despite the unequal treatment of cars and motorhomes.Translating
Very quiet and pleasant neighborhood on the edge of town. Ongoing construction makes access somewhat difficult, but you can get there without problems via the road alongside the fields. A lovely tree-lined path starting from the car park allows for a beautiful walk.Translating
Very nice, quiet area. Construction still blocks access, but a very friendly person guided us there via another route: go via Saint Martin Church, which is in the same location.Translating
Road construction is ongoing around the area. It is currently inaccessible.Translating
We couldn't gain access, the way was blocked by construction work.
We spent one night here today and can recommend the site. In winter, you can also fill up with fresh water if you are willing to walk about 300 meters through the adjacent cemetery. Below the funeral hall—not the church—there is a frost-proof outdoor tap on the wall where we were able to draw the precious water without any problems. Thanks to the town for this site!Translating
Very nice small campsite in a beautiful winter landscape. Waste disposal is possible, but unfortunately there is no fresh water.Translating
Great campsite. Unfortunately, there is currently no water.Translating
Very nice small campsite. We only used it for waste disposal. Perfect for taking care of everything quickly and cleanly.Translating
Great place, friendly little town, and an exceptionally reasonable price. Thank you to the municipality; places like this are not very common in Germany.Translating
Tidy place, although not particularly spacious for four motorhomes, judging by the signs. There is also space opposite, and there are six electrical outlets. 50 cents per 1 kWh; the machine accepts everything from 10 cents to €2. The parking meter also accepts credit and debit cards, but contactless only.Translating
The fresh-water supply does not work. It is difficult to understand because the cleaning function works, but the fresh-water button is broken. We left unable to refill and €0.50 poorer.Translating
