Lagoon marshes, wet-weather ground

Superb view over the marshes and the pink flamingos. A minor drawback: the spot is beside a road with occasional traffic.

Nice spot by the pond. Perfect for birdwatching if you remain discreet: ducks, grey herons, and sometimes a few flamingos depending on the season. Quiet nights, little traffic. Very pleasant natural setting.

Great spot on a grassy area past the centuries-old umbrella pine by the lagoon (avoid it in rainy weather).

Perfect. Surrounded by wonderful nature and on a hardly used road. When I arrived, I could even watch a flamingo family in the evening.

A very pleasant little spot, easy to reach and ideal for three campers. You can park by the big tree, or there are two more spots a little farther on. It is very quiet and dark. We felt completely comfortable here.

We slept under the big pine tree, what a spot. Great views of the flamingos. Cars come by but we're quiet for us. We did a lovely hike around the area before leaving in the morning. Plenty of other spots in this area too.

We slept one night under the big pine. The ground is slightly sloping but nothing too bothersome. The spot is beside the road, but there is little traffic at night. In the morning, however, there are hunters and walkers, and several cars seemed to enjoy honking at every van or motorhome parked there overnight. Lovely view when waking up.

Beautiful spot, a little hidden, but worth it.

Okay, we drove on because there are many spots with lake views.

Idyllic location, but a perfect example of why we can enjoy such places less and less: complete disrespect from some people. Below the platform, in the reeds, there are piles of toilet paper and various rubbish. Is it really necessary to remind people that toilet paper can be put in a small bag and then thrown in a bin?
