Camping des Cinq Chemins Verts

I'll start with the negatives: an overcrowded campsite, cars parked everywhere. The restaurant and terrace are beyond description, and the toilets were extremely dirty; we had to hose them down ourselves, and the equipment had been broken by children. The positives: a very warm welcome during the 15 August weekend. After several full campsites in Belgium, they put us on the football field for one night.✦Translating

Nice pitches, on slightly sloping ground. There are many permanent pitches and only about five for motorhomes/caravans. We were right by the swimming pool, ideal for the children.✦Translating

Lovely campsite! We arrived without a reservation and they were able to fit us in! Most pitches are on grass and aren’t perfectly flat, but we managed to find a fairly level spot. Great swimming pool and facilities. We had a great night here.

I give three stars for the magnificent scenery; the campsite is beautiful. However, these are not motorhome pitches at all. The grassy ground is not flat, and if it is wet you get stuck, so it is almost impossible to drive onto the levelling blocks. The price is €21 per night including electricity, not €13.50 plus €3 for electricity.✦Translating

Pleasant stop at this time of year in this landscaped campsite, intended mainly for cabins. Space for vans or motorhomes is limited and located at the entrance to the campsite. Spacious, clean sanitary facilities. A lovely experience.✦Translating

Very good campsite, lovely pool, well maintained. excellent for kids with lots of things for them to do- zipline, trampolines, slide etc. owners were very nice and slotted us in without a reservation, although we didnt need electric. knocked a star off as unfortunately there was a lot of litter around and the showers and washing up area could definitely have done with a good clean!
