Hollinwood Lane, SK6 7ES, Marple
Been here?
This is a slightly sloping tarmac viewpoint near Marple, with excellent views over the valley and walks nearby. Access roads are narrow and tight, with little traffic. The carpark has bins but no other facilities. Nights are usually quiet, although loud youths or cars may disturb for around an hour.

carpark was empty when I arrived managed to get the corner spot looking over the valley. quiet most of the night except around an hours worth of boy racers spinning around carpark then playing loud music. put my ear plugs in for bed so didnt disrupt my sleep but I had worried slightly they might lose control n clip my van. I'd stay again as they didnt come and bother me
Quiet night with great views over the valley. Tight access roads to get in and out but fortunately we didn't meet much traffic. Just bins, no facilities.
Picturesque spot with nice walks. Stayed one night, car park slopes, so my best spot was bottom left, facing the exit. Some loud youths shouting past 11pm for less than an hour, then drove off. Good nights sleep apart from that. Rubbish bin is always a bonus.
Perfect, quiet place to spend the night and have breakfast.
Very quiet little car park, only one car was there when I arrived, but they did not stay overnight. Very little traffic on the road next to it; it was perfect!
really nice park up. was one car all night couple of youngsters smoking weed but no trouble. Bins located on carpark. Nice little walk through the wood with views of the canal. Will return
Stayed here on a Friday night with one other van. Very peaceful, no boy racers
