Lakeside picnic parking, quiet nights

Peaceful place. Level parking, with some shaded spots thanks to the trees. Somewhat busy during the day but very quiet at night. Perfect for walking dogs, having a picnic, or enjoying the peace and quiet. Accessible to all vehicles.

I spent the night here alone. In the evening, a group of men arrived with a tour bus to barbecue, but fortunately they left again. There was no one else in the parking area at night. I felt reasonably safe. Toilets are only open during the day.

Excellent for spending the night and the day, few people, and you can hear some road noise, but it isn't disturbing!

Perfect place. Lake, snack bar, a 30-minute circular walk around the lake with children, children's playground, and a large rock to approach the water... Very level.

Extremely quiet! We were the only ones in the parking area. Large parking area near a lovely little lake. It takes about 15 minutes to walk around it.

Very peaceful! Great space surrounding the park. A total of five motorhomes stayed overnight, and we felt completely safe. Totally recommend it.

Stayed one night and it was quiet and beautiful. Wonderful to have free public toilets, outdoor showers, and a pretty lake to walk around. Several other vans stayed, but there is plenty of space.

Beautiful spot! We had a quiet night shared with another camper and enjoyed a walk around the lake in the morning. At 0700 on Sunday morning lots of fisherman arrive but it doesn't bother us as we wake up early. They are very respectful and gone by midday.

Good place to spend the night. Good access. We were alone; I suppose there will be more vehicles in summer. In the morning we took a beautiful walk around the lake. There are barbecues and tables.

Very nice, quiet parking area for overnight stays. Unfortunately, the toilets were closed. We were alone there.

Very nice. A quiet evening; we ate at the picnic tables by the water, which is very pretty. Barbecues and water taps are available, but staff told us the water was not potable. The parking area is quiet in the evening, and we slept there without any problems, although it is not an official campsite. There is a bar during the day, but all the toilets and facilities are closed.

Quite a peaceful place with an incredible area for walking and enjoying a sunny day.
