1 Route du Grand Moulin, 17800, Fléac-sur-Seugne
Been here?
This is a small riverside recreation area beside the Seugne, with grassy space, shade and a shelter of 50 m2. Four quiet spaces are available north of the water, but a large construction site is beside the river and the entrance is badly damaged. The GPS may direct you across the river to a small piece of land by a house. The village is 500 meters away, while shops are 3 kilometers away.

Idyllic place. The GPS sent us to the other side of the river. There is a house opposite this small piece of land; we asked the man who was there, and he said there was no problem. It is very pleasant for a lunch break. We would have happily slept there, but we had to continue our journey.
Nice setting for lunch, but the leisure center is gone and there is a large construction site next to the watercourse. Beware: the entrance is very uneven. Four quiet spaces north of the water.
A pleasant, quiet place in nature for a meal break.
Good for a lunchtime picnic by the river. Shaded parking. No picnic table. The canoe base seems abandoned. Lifeless recreation area.
The GPS sent us to the other side of the river, into a small field beside the river. We stopped there to eat, but it is unclear whether the land is public or private; there is a house opposite the road, with cars already parked in the field.
Go a little farther; you will be on the other bank, and it is very quiet.
No water, and the neighbor who lives right at the end said to me when I arrived, “What the hell is this?” What a welcome! I quickly left. It is also overrun with mosquitoes and next to the road. No water!
It seemed like a youth-movement site to me, but nevertheless I slept peacefully there. I found no services, and the covered areas are indeed rather rickety. Fortunately, there is plenty of space and very few campers; I was alone for quite a while, then another one arrived. Wonderful to wake up to the birds and the sound of the stream at the end.
Quiet place, but surrounded by torn black tarps, which is a little sad and takes away from its charm. The night went well without any problems. You wake up to birdsong.
Wonderful, quiet place.
