Community-managed picnic area on an elevated site, where camping is allowed. It has two pitches with a 180 ° view towards the sunset, plus benches, tables, a shelter, grill, fire pit and some firewood. The access is by gravel road, and the places are flat with a wide view; Leipzig’s Monument to the Battle of the Nations may be visible in clear weather. There are no rubbish bins, and two wind turbines are nearby.

Great place, with several benches and tables, including one under a roof protecting against rain and wind. Bins, a grill, and a bonfire area. We even had some firewood available. A local family came to spend Sunday afternoon there—very friendly. Nice view and flat spots. Access via a gravel road. Several more places are available 100 metres farther on, beneath the non-functional wind turbine.
Great view and really quite a long way to the nearest neighbour.
