Do not stay overnight; no camping behavior! Residents call the police, and the police issue fines.
Warning. Do not park in front of this beach; the locals call the police and you end up with a €300 fine.
You can no longer park here. This morning, three others and I received a €300 fine, thanks to the new stupid law. They do not allow parking anywhere, not even in public parking spaces. You cannot stay overnight in Greece, and the police said you may stay only 20–24 hours maximum, then you must move on. So please be careful; they collected €1,200 just this morning. NO TENT, NO CHAIRS, NO TABLES OUT. I was only parked.
Good place for motorhomes over 7 m, opposite the sea. One other motorhome. Quiet, with fishermen at night. A sweet, hungry dog. Many restaurants 300 m away. Thank you to the municipality.
fantastic spot offseason during day some cars parked here for the beach but at night only 3 campers. quiet night 5 dogs walk around the village, seemed friendly but do as some locals do and bring bamboo stick or something when you go hiking most people go to the spot ca. 1.5 km futher, at the end of the beach outside the village. we went there as well, also nice but we liked this one bit better
Beautiful beach when tidy. There was a lot of rubbish when we were there, and construction was underway, presumably for the high season. We did not find the shower, or it was private.
There are far better places to stay around Sithonia, however, this is just fine if you’re looking for a stop over. The dogs seem nervous and stayed quiet during the night, I suppose this will be very hit and miss. Good signal!
Nice to park so close to the beach, quiet enough, a few loud motorbikes and cars in the evening but not to bad. View to the sea very nice, the other side closed up apartments. A couple of dogs being a bit of a nuisance and nighttime barking.
Very beautiful place facing the sea. Huge, empty beach in the off-season. Even the nearby road is not bothersome, as there is very little traffic. We spent a very good night here.
Perfect place in the low season. An occasional dog barked at night, but otherwise it was quiet.
Magnificent beach during the week, but avoid it on weekends: scooters go back and forth making an unbearable racket. We saw five stray cats on the first day.
Wonderful place. We had very pleasant days and quiet nights. Occasionally some cars or scooters passed by, and some stray cats sat near the camper. The beach was also quiet and all the resorts were closed. This made us feel as though we were not bothering anyone. I think this place is unsuitable or not tolerated during high season. Highly recommended in the off-season!
We had a great night here. Occasionally, loud cars drove past at night. It could therefore be quite noisy and crowded in high season, but in the off-season it is excellent. There are also rubbish bins.
Great place along the beach, easy to access and flat. Very pleasant sandy beach with shallow water. Several other motorhomes. Quiet.
We spent two peaceful nights by the beach. A dog barked a little during one night, but it was not disruptive. Very convenient for staying independently and enjoying the beach and its turquoise water. Several campers share the parking area. A taverna is next door.
I stayed two days in this parking area. The beach is very beautiful, the water clean and clear, and it is very quiet in early October. The shower water has already been turned off; if you want some, you have to go to the small harbor, a 10-minute walk along the coastal road.
Guys, Please don't dump the van/camper toilets in the beach surroundings! The locals are quite tolerant to us but this won't last forever. We are supposed to preserve the nature not to destroy it. There is a construction site where toilets were dumped also and the construction workers are disgusted this morning.
We passed by the place to check it. It looks very nice, calm and safe. I guess it will be OK to park there out of the season. We were there mid September. To the other side of the beach there are even better places so that area seams very nice.
