Near the Cœur de France greenway... A superb route along the Berry Canal near the medieval town of Menetou, the land of Thierry la Fronde... 5 km by bicycle from the aire, very pleasant.

Very beautiful place, picnic table. Work will be carried out this winter (lighting, stabilizing the pitches, and opening a snack bar in spring). After speaking with a municipal employee, toilets will also be installed, and overnight bicycle bivouacking along the Cher cycling route is allowed, with the sole commitment not to disturb the motorhome users.

Well, we too, Evasion 53, stayed on this aire last night, and it was in complete darkness—no lighting—and there was young people’s traffic in front of the barriers at 3 a.m. We stop here fairly often, and this keeps happening.

Well, we also stayed here last night, Evasion 53, and it was pitch-dark with no lighting. There was youth activity in front of the barriers at 3 a.m. We stop here fairly often, and this keeps happening.

Again, like many Camping-Car Park sites, far too expensive for the location. Not secure at night, no lighting on the site, with many young people coming in the evening to carry out their dealings… and open to anyone via a public road running right through the middle, among other things serving the sewage treatment plant.

Stayed one night with the camper. Wonderfully quiet and safe. Access, electricity and water are operated with a card that we bought on site. Excellent place for a stopover.

Very pleasant site for staying and cycling to the pretty medieval village of Menetou. Quiet; the only thing missing is lighting in the evening.

Chaotic entrance, machine showing an error, quickly resolved by phone. Brand-new pitch, with only the bare minimum: electricity, water and drainage. On the other hand, there is an endless and beautiful cycle and walking route along the canal.

The setting is fairly nice, except that we were eaten alive by mosquitoes despite the heat, so we stayed confined to the motorhome. The machine at the entrance was also showing an error—not great.

Excellent motorhome site. At this time of year, it is not advisable to park on the grass pitches. However, electricity, water and drainage worked without problems. There was just an issue when leaving: the barrier did not open, but customer service responded very quickly.

Pleasant site, perfect for a stopover. Note that currently only the dozen pitches on the hardstanding are accessible; the grass pitches are closed because of the risk of getting stuck.

Drinking-water dispenser out of order. Very good butcher in the village, but unfortunately the bakery is closed until the end of the month.

Not bad! Grassy ground—thankfully we avoided the asphalt! Trees along the edge. The pitches are marked out by wooden posts. All pitches have electricity. The drainage point is clean, but you need the card to activate the water.

Paid €15 on entry; we did not take water, and to leave we had to pay another €10 recharge to get out. €25 for the night—they will never see us again. It is frankly not very good and is a rip-off.

Very beautiful setting for this recent, clean site, with plenty of electrical hookups. We were able to try a 24/7 pizza dispenser in the village, 200 metres away.

Site with all amenities, quiet, with children’s play equipment nearby. Be careful: the grass pitches cause levelling blocks to sink.

Another nice place where we regularly stopped has become a paid site. What a shame.

Recent site close to shops, clean and quiet! We encountered electrical problems—repeated tripping—and our neighbour burned out their circuit breaker.

Apparently new site. The grass pitches are not open, presumably because work still needs to be completed, judging by the construction equipment. We were nevertheless eight vehicles without feeling cramped and had a pleasant night, with birdsong and a small canal nearby, which is good for fishermen.

It says at the top that parking is free. That is false: you enter with the card but pay when leaving. Arrived at 5 p.m. and left the next day at 10 a.m.; €13.78, the same price as for 24 hours. Also next to a sewage treatment plant. At least it is quiet at that price.

Wonderful, well-maintained and quiet place with plenty of space and games for little ones.
