Free motorhome parking beside the fjord and harbour, with a beautiful view and walking distance to the town centre, shops and Viking site. The spaces are short, with recent comments indicating that vehicles over 6m may extend into the road. There are no dedicated services, although toilets are available at the nearby harbour bath during opening hours; the area is busier by day and quiet at night.

Superb pitch, unfortunately without services. Splendid view and toilets available in the sauna building beside the water. A quiet night, ideal for a stopover!
Very nice motorhome area, thanks to Frederikssund. Depending on the vehicle length, finding a suitable free space is a matter of luck. The neighboring bathing area means it is always somewhat busy, with parked vehicles and visitors.
Unfortunately, we discovered the spot in the morning; otherwise we would have stayed here. How wonderful! Very tidy area—please keep it that way—with a picnic bench and an excellent bathing area, not open around the clock: changing rooms, toilet, cold shower and diving tower. Super cool!
The place is exceptional. Near the fjord and harbor promenade, we enjoyed a spectacular sunset. Some toilets are 200 meters away, as are supermarkets. During the day it is quite busy with locals visiting the sea, but at night it is truly quiet. The major problem is that there are few motorhome spaces and they are always occupied by cars. Only early in the morning or in the evening can you find a place.
Quiet place with a fantastic view. There is a water hose along the quay, as well as a Lee Strom black-water pump and a toilet at the harbor bath during opening hours.
On arrival, all spaces were occupied by cars. When we wanted to park at the side, a local resident immediately told us that parking there was forbidden. When we pointed out that the motorhome spaces were occupied by residents’ cars, she just shrugged—apparently that is how it is. With a 7-meter motorhome, even if spaces are free, parking is not possible.
Quiet parking. No services except recycling containers. Possible to park a 7-meter vehicle without protruding into the road. Supermarket 150 meters away.
Magnificent view of the harbor and its swimming pool. Quiet at night, but awakened very early by the gardener’s noise.
