Been here?
A free daytime parking area near the forest, with plenty of space and a 24-hour maximum stay. There are no toilets or other facilities, and occasional aircraft may be heard. It is easy to reach and generally quiet, but nearby houses mean it is not suitable for overnight stays.

Not suitable for overnight stays (residential houses nearby). Free daytime parking for 24 hours—a great option with plenty of space.
Small parking area at the edge of the forest, a starting point for cross-country skiing in winter. Quiet location with little traffic; a residential neighborhood opposite, so please be quiet. No infrastructure—no bins, tables, or benches. Many joggers and dogs around in the evening. Parking allowed for a maximum of 24 hours.
Lots of space and very quiet at night.
Perfectly fine for one night while passing through. We had no problems; the night was quiet.
Super-quiet and level place. We slept in the sports center parking area, where there are also bins.
Good little park up for the night.
Good place for an overnight stay. No toilets or showers. Because of the proximity to the airport, you may occasionally hear airplanes. But only occasionally. It did not bother us. The parking area was empty and clean.
Perfect overnight parking between Lillehammer and Oslo. Near a school, but it is closed in early August. No services, but very quiet.
No toilets or facilities but good to stay at, felt safe, easy to get to
Quiet night. Several forest paths directly nearby.
We arrived in the evening, and it was perfect for spending one night before continuing our journey. The proximity to the airport was an advantage for us.
Good overnight spot for one night. Very quiet and next to a beautiful walking area. No other facilities.
We stayed here over the weekend and had a peaceful night. For a free 24-hour parking area, it is perfectly fine. However, I can imagine it gets noisier during the week because of the school.
A quiet, pleasant place. Walkers pass by from time to time. Behind the parking area is a very beautiful small waterfall with a hiking trail.
Large parking area, very close to a school. You may stay here for a maximum of 24 hours. It was somewhat noisy in the evening, with many walkers and people passing by, but it was fine. We were not bothered by airplanes. A good place for one night.
There is a residential area and a school in the immediate vicinity. If you park a little farther back, it should be fine for one night. However, some people park with a direct view of the houses... that really isn't necessary. So “next to nature” is somewhat exaggerated, but there is a hiking area. Maximum 24 hours; aircraft noise did not bother us.
Great parking area. Located right next to a hiking/light trail. The whole loop is about 4 km. At the top there is a pond, which is excellent if you want to go swimming. Skedsmo Senter, a small cozy shopping center with shops, cafés, and restaurants, is only 2 km away.
Clean, quiet gravel parking area on the edge of a residential area. Very level, but airplanes fly overhead from time to time. Parking allowed for 24 hours.
