Polígono Puerto Musel, 33212, Gijón
Been here?
Motorhome area directly beside the beach, with 18 spaces, 10 plug sockets and a nearby bus stop for Gijón. Water services are available but need improvement, and electricity is paid through an app; a laundry is 150 meters away and a specialist workshop is less than 200 meters away. The area is often crowded, with cars sometimes using motorhome spaces. Traffic, port vehicles, trucks and trains make it very noisy, although the beach and adjacent pine park are convenient.

lots of noise, until very late at night and from very early in the morning. the very busy road. cars, trucks and even a train during the day. I recommend it for a stopover in the city which is very beautiful and welcoming, a nice park to eat right next door and next to the sea, for services but do not spend the night there.
Very noisy and crowded
the water service could be improved, the area quite correct for parking, to visit cimadevilla better to take the bus. noisy night and day.
The area itself is not bad if you want to be close to the beach or change water, but if you want to spend a night I do not recommend it. We arrived late and had a hard time finding a spot because cars also park there when there is a parking lot for cars right next to it, and to top it all off we found a spot but left... there were people singing with loud music at 12 at night and a very unpleasant smell of urine...
It is open 24/7. It falls short for Gijón's needs. Almost flat, good service area and close to a beach. A bit far from the center. Thanks to the City Council of Gijón.
We arrived on a Sunday morning and were lucky enough to have a space available. The parking lot was full to the brim. There was an event with an air show on San Lorenzo beach. Very convenient to have a free pitch to allow us to visit Gijon. If you are a light sleeper the road behind is quite noisy. There is much more space this Monday morning.
Perfect location, many spaces, no noise (not like I see in other comments, being Saturday), beach in front, tables and benches to eat under the pines, super nice, there is a functional shower on the beach, a short distance from the center by bike. I mean, for me it is a perfect ten. Thanks to the Gijon city council for remembering campervan drivers.
Long parking lot shaded on one side, with adjacent pine forest and beach. Being near the port the water was not the best. Electricity for a fee (not cheap, activated via app). There is also a small vending machine for useful products for campers. Center 10 minutes by bike, on a flat bike path. We don't give 5 stars only because it's noisy early in the morning.
to be avoided, very loud along the port entrance... the parking lot is also frequented by construction trucks that leave their engines running.
indeed space to park you can empty fill the water but very very noisy the parking is next to the port entrance a parade of cars and trucks
Indeed we can park if we like noise and proximity to other Motorhomes. The area is located on the port entrance (bus, truck, ...) which pass continuously. We ate but we did not stay for the night Thank you to the municipality for making this area available to Motorhomers in front of the beach, but too much noise for us.
The area is operational. water, gray and black water emptying. No sign of prohibition due to works, as previous comments indicated.
The area is fenced because they have put the fair and it occupies the area and the car parking, the parking that they have enabled for cars and motorhomes on the other side of the roundabout is pitiful and does not give any security, for now this year the motorhome area cannot be used
closed until July. but right in front there is a large open lot. the Poti change can indeed be done in the area even if it is closed
it is impossible to find parking they do not move and do not respect the maximum time we are screwing up Spain and then we complain when we have more and more restrictions every day the majority foreigners
closed until 29/7/26 due to works. parking without services can be seen from the roundabout itself
Positives: there is a power bank, a vending machine which includes toilet chemicals, and it’s next to the beach but shaded by pine trees. negatives: it’s very noisy. Very ! most of the night and from early morning.
It is a bit inconvenient to park, I confirm that the stalls are narrow for campers... the services are fully functioning, the city center can be reached with a walk of about 3 km, flat and very beautiful
Good morning, today we woke up with the placement of signs prohibiting the use of the area, from 16/06/26 to 26/07/26. Despite such a long period. They have not provided an alternative location.
Loud, cramped and full. Good earplugs recommended for the night.
Very crowded area with narrow pitches, but all services are available. The beach is next door, with lots of green areas for dogs. Supermarket nearby. It is a very noisy area, not only because of the road and trucks, but also because of the people. If you sleep lightly, this is not the place for you. I suppose it is even worse in the height of summer. Still, thanks to Gijón for providing the area.
Area with very good views of the beach, water and electricity services available for a fee. It can be a little noisy, but the views make up for it. The pitches are narrow and we were lucky to find one because it was extremely full. It is close to the center on foot, by bike or by bus. Thanks to Gijón for this place.
Perfect for one stopover and spending the day visiting Gijón. However, the road to the port area is extremely noisy, not only because of the many trucks but, worst of all, because they drive over metal plates, making a terrible noise. So we preferred to leave in the late afternoon and find a quieter place for the night. Still, this area deserves credit for existing and can be useful.
When we arrived, the entire area was full, including the section reserved exclusively for motorhomes, because many cars park there and apparently nobody cares. The spaces are far too small. Everyone is parked very close together, so you can no longer open the door. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend it. (Van)
Very, very noisy, always full of long-term parking vehicles. Useful for using the services. Right on the beach for those who like that.
Great location next to the beach, with beach showers after swimming and a very nice, lively sandy beach. All motorhome services are available here. Mercadona is 850 meters away on foot. Bus to the city. We plan to stay here for two nights. Many good restaurants nearby.
Dedicated area for vans close to the Arbeyal beach and the port. The road to the port is noisy and may be an issue to some people but it didn’t bother us . Completely full with another 20 plus vans over spilling on the main car park. Plenty of Spanish residents. Facilities all there. Thanks Gijon.
As described previously. Free. Electricity can be booked. Small machine with useful items. It is a good 4–5 km and 45–60 minutes on foot to the city, but manageable. At first we had an uneasy feeling because it is very isolated beside the port and industrial area, but we experienced nothing negative. We got the last space on a Saturday in May at around 10.
Great stopover, a little far from the center, but for such a large city it is perfect. It is difficult to find a space.
This area is fine. We have stayed at many, and it is true that it has nothing more than gray- and black-water disposal, but it is not as bad as many comments say. For spending two nights, I recommend it if you are lucky and there is space. The bus stop is nearby, and if you like walking you can walk into town. Thanks to those who welcome us and provide these places.
Good and free parking, with all water and disposal services working perfectly. I am taking off one star because of the noise. Since it is beside the road and near the railway, it is very noisy. It is quite busy, but we found a space.
Spaces are scarce. Lots of people and very noisy.
