Unnamed Road, 97475, Zeil am Main
Been here?
This is a quiet gravel hiking car park near a castle ruin, with a slight slope and good walking routes. Daytime visitors, hikers and dog walkers are common, while nights are generally peaceful; a bin is available but no toilet. The approach is steep and should use Schmachtenberg in the village, not the road by the entrance petrol station. Vehicles up to 8.55m can reach it, but passing traffic is difficult, and the ruin is 700 metres away.

Perfect for one night. Calm and quiet. A hiking trail passes through here, perfect for stretching your legs.
We spent a very peaceful night up here. There were many walkers in the evening, but they did not disturb us. Do not drive up at the petrol station at the entrance to town; instead, go through town via Schmachtenberg Street.
Quiet gravel area, somewhat uneven but manageable. Great hiking opportunities. Many visitors, dog owners, and hikers during the day. Please park economically.
It is very quiet here unless a dog owner parks right next to your vehicle and plays ball with their dog at 5:30 a.m. while loudly shouting commands. The area is slightly sloped, but offers a good starting point for great hikes all the way into the vineyards.
Beautiful; in the evening you are alone with yourself and a few animals. Hikers start passing through at dawn. A rubbish bin is available.
We had a peaceful night.
Beautiful place. Please treat it well and take your rubbish and wastewater with you so such beautiful places can be preserved. Steep approach, but manageable. Great walking routes.
Our 8.55-meter liner could access it, although the last kilometer is steep. No one must come the other way. The area itself is slightly sloped and absolutely quiet. The castle ruins are only 700 meters away, although not much remains. Afterwards, we took a 9-kilometer hike through the vineyards.
We spent a night here in the middle of April. It is quite a good place, with only a slight slope. A couple of cars passed in the middle of the night, but apart from that it was nice and quiet.
Quiet, pleasant, and beautiful. Dog walkers and paths for walking. What more could you want?
Beautiful hiking car park. Road around the corner, but little traffic at night. Rubbish bin available, no toilet. Generally a quiet night, except we were startled when a camper arrived very late and honked, and we heard loud voices. The ruins are a few minutes' walk away and offer a great view.
Great place, very quiet and with a beautiful view. A rapeseed field is right next to the car park!
Good for one night. Hikers until 8 p.m., then quiet. A very pleasant little walk with a dog.
Easy to reach. Very quiet and clean. Good for one night while traveling to or from somewhere. Keep it clean!
Nice place for an overnight stay. There is a very good brewery nearby in the town.
