Hi campers. I live 5 min away and the sign was put up in the sommer. It is not an official sign and there no local authority to control parking in Albertslund. So enjoy and have a happy stay.
Ideal parking for visiting Thomas Dambo’s sculpture.
A sign at the entrance prohibits camping, see the pictures. Otherwise, a very beautiful place with extensive grassy areas and a playground.
Great spot with lots of green space for walking dogs, a lovely park and rubbish bins available. There is a Lidl five minutes away for shopping if needed.
Great spot! Greenery all around. It is a 20-minute walk to the S-train, line B, which goes to Copenhagen.
Good place. It is busy in summer, but quieter in the evening. You can also park on the meadow.
Near a park, quiet and pleasant. Ideal for a break.
Perfect place for a break with the dog; for overnight stays we find it a bit too cramped and busy. But it is perfect for taking a walk in between! Dogs may run free.
There is space, but I did not feel safe at night. During the day, however, it seemed family-friendly; I did not stay.
Very nice place for walking; pleasant during the day. At night, however, you can hear the train, cars in the distance, and people arriving early in the morning for walks.
Very good place to sleep. Thomas Dambo’s two trolls are really nearby, there are lots of children’s games and plenty of space to stretch your legs. No noise at night.
We arrived late in the evening at an empty spot. After parking our car, we noticed that people use the road by bicycle to return to town after visiting a pub, resulting in noisy people. We still stayed overnight. Around 7 a.m., construction workers arrived and started working. So it was not the best spot for us, but I can imagine it being better on other nights.
Brilliant! Flat, free parking with lots of space in a huge, beautifully maintained park. Children’s playground. We have a 7 m motorhome that is difficult to park in Copenhagen, so we parked during the day on the free street by Albertslund train station, five minutes away by motorhome, to reach the city center. Waste-water emptying and fresh-water filling are available at the campsite 10 minutes away, free of charge! In short, a great spot!
The place is perfect for spending the night, completely quiet, with a huge park where you can play with your children or dogs. Literally 30 meters away there is an area where we can park our motorhomes out of sight.
Great place for one night. We had just come from Sweden and were looking for a quiet place nearby. You can walk in the adjoining park, where you can discover two trolls. Quite a few visitors and dog walkers in the early evening, but very quiet afterward.
Absolutely recommended parking area. It is somewhat busier on Tuesdays and Wednesdays because dog training takes place here. We met the dog trainer, a very nice man. Allan allowed us to use the portable toilets beside the building. Best of all, there are two trolls to discover here. Ideal for anyone interested in myths.
A good, peaceful place for one night.
Several level areas, directly next to a beautiful large park. Ideal for dog owners. Disadvantage: the residential area looks somewhat run-down. At night, someone wandered around the motorhomes and vans. Eventually he staggered away.
