Larger vehicles arrive from Idrigil route!! OK for a night, make sure you get a ticket in the morning at 8am. The car park has been extended but still fills up quick. Pay at the closest pay point to where you parked, I don't think the older ringo pay points cover the new half of the car park? Watch out for the tourists in rental cars that do not know how to drive single lane with passing places.

Car park theoretically intended for daytime use (8:00–20:00). We were here in the low season, stayed for one night, and nobody objected. There was another van too. The location is wild, with breathtaking views, and the trekking starting point is two minutes away. The only downside is that the area is very exposed to the wind.✦Translating

Great place to stay for Quiraing or Bioda Buidhe visit. Stay officially limited to 12h. The two large signs with the campervan are a bit inconsistent: in the eastern part of the carpark, they indicate "cars, motorcycle" only and one of the two canpervans are forbidden. Some of the regulations were made unreadable by scotch tape. In the western part, no such sign could be found.

Good for the hike and spending the night.

Stunning spot. Either arrive early or late, cause during the day the place is packed and has barely any place for big RVs! However, the midges forced us to stay inside in the evening. Please consider to respect the nature, keep your waste in the van and consider to park straight for leaving enough space for morning visitors. Hopefully the place remains open to the van community.

We parked there yesterday evening. The comments mention that overnight parking is no longer allowed. We did not find any prohibition signs. As a precaution, we asked Scottish campers. They all assured us that it was apparently still possible. We spent the night there alone and were able to start our hike early in the morning.✦Translating

The max time you can park here is 6 hours. You cannot spend the night.

Highland Council have updated parking on Skye where they’re restricting parking for campers + motorhomes etc. Make sure to read the parking signs otherwise they’ll slap you with £100 fine. This car park no longer allows campers and motorhomes etc. There are bays for limited campers outside the huge car park on the road (road marked with white lines). Be careful to not go in the bus area though.
