Quiet public parking area at the canoe launch on the Pegnitz, with a beer garden in the village. The riverside setting includes benches, but there are no services; a glass container is at the entrance. Some traffic from the nearby road and regularly passing trains can be heard, though recent overnight stays were undisturbed.

We also missed the entrance at night and spent the night in the turning area :) Residential buildings are very close, but it was not a problem.
We wanted to spend the night here, but missed the entrance. We therefore drove to the end of the road. There is a turning area with parking for one or two short motorhomes. Ours is 5.99 m long, and it fit perfectly. Slept well.
We slept well and undisturbed here. There is some traffic from the neighboring road, but it was not too bad at night.
A practical little place.
