Paid parking at Nyksund’s entrance, with sea views and generally quiet surroundings. Motorhomes cost 60 NOK per hour or 240 NOK for 24 hours, payable through an app using license-plate recognition. There are no motorhome services; a toilet container costs 20 NOK via credit card. The access road is gravel but in good condition.

To keep the town car-free, you have to park here. A motorhome costs 240 NOK for 24 hours, with no services. Foreign visitors can pay via the EasyPark app, with an additional 15% service fee. There is a separate toilet container, accessible by credit card for 20 NOK. Parking at the entrance to town, by the rubbish-container area, is now prohibited. Nyksund is a pleasant place with a slightly decayed charm. The first parking area before the bridge is free, but extremely uneven and next to rubbish containers. The second one behind the bridge is great, but has no services at all. Payment: the license plate is apparently scanned when leaving the parking area, and you then have 48 hours to pay the fee via an app or QR code. I am trying the latter.Translating

Small fishing port at the northern tip of Langøya Island. A true feeling of being at the end of the world. Accessible only by a 10-kilometer dirt road that is perfectly drivable. The village was abandoned for decades and is now being restored. We stayed one night so we could eat at the village restaurant, which we recommend. Parking costs 120 NOK for about 15 hours, paid on site.Translating
