Strada Vicinale Granitola Cartibubbo, 91021, Capo Granitola
Been here?
This free wild seaside spot has compacted ground made of sand and rock, with space for campers and direct beach access. The route has changed because the old track was washed away, and the area is generally quiet and well ventilated. There are no services, and some rubbish and mosquitoes have been reported. The nearby beaches are sandy, while access from the spot may be over rocks.

I parked here for two nights. Everyone around was camping, with chairs and tables, and there were no police around. Safe.
The place has changed somewhat; the path is new because the old one was washed away. Please ignore myjmp's comments—he has written the same thing everywhere. The place is very beautiful and quiet, though there is quite a lot of rubbish. If everyone takes a bag, perhaps we can change that. Beware of mosquitoes!
Desolate area, but perfect for us water-sports enthusiasts. Direct beach access, parking large enough, and a relaxed atmosphere among the campers, all of whom are water-sports enthusiasts. And rubbish again—it seems to be part of the townscape in Sicily. Beautifully quiet and free.
Free surf spot on dunes facing the sea... We spent two peaceful and well-ventilated nights in the company of other campers... No services, and crystal-clear sea without Posidonia seaweed.
We're stayed at the beginning of the road, close by the beach for one night. There is place, because the road is so wide. We tried to got more further, but it was rained and there was so much water on the road, so we're afraid to drove there.
Anyone who complains here should consider whether this way of traveling is right for them. Today is July 22, peak season. I am here with two motorhomes and a campervan. There is still plenty of space. I do not have four-wheel drive either. I saw the most beautiful sunset; it was quiet apart from the sound of the sea. I could even leave the windows open. Five stars.
Nice pitch by the sea, but with cars constantly coming and going. If more motorhomes arrive, it becomes very cramped. As long-term travelers who value peace and quiet, we found there was too little privacy, so we drove 500 meters farther along the beach road. There is more space there, and everyone can find their own secluded spot without disturbing others. These places are even listed on Park4Night.
Thanks for this spot. During our three weeks in Sicily in a van, it will remain one of our favorites. It is windy, so you do not overheat, and the sea is right beside the van! Yes, there is rubbish, but we have seen worse!
We arrived late at night and it looked a bit shady but it is actually a great spot, we ended staying here for one night and it was very calm. There is indeed some trash around (like everywhere) but the sea was really amazing. Would recommend
