Shopping-centre car park open 24 hours, with free overnight parking, no barriers, and plenty of spaces. It is within walking distance of Marlay Park and Dundrum Town Centre, with McDonalds open 24/7. Overnight stays have been accepted recently, though traffic noise becomes noticeable from around 6h and can continue through the night.

Parked here overnight for concert at Marlay Park, no barriers, no charge and plenty of spaces. Lots of other cars parked so plenty of people walking back. No-one questioned us or asked us to move and we took up 2 spaces in our motorhome. Very handy however a little noisy with traffic but to be expected!
We were able to spend one night there with our large motorhome. No problem getting in, no barrier. It was a Tuesday evening and we arrived at midnight. On the other hand, there was a lot of noise from 6 a.m. when traffic resumed on the street.
Regarding the previous comment, I am at this parking area and asked the security staff at the shopping center—at least the one at the center entrance—whether it was possible to spend the night here in a motorhome, using a translator, and he said yes. This afternoon a gentleman came and told me I could not spend the night, so I moved to another parking area.
Lots of space to park a camper. Restaurant for lunch. However, we were warned that we could not spend the night. Nice place to park and take the bus to the city center, Trinity College and other attractions. Bus passes available at the Circle K station next door.
