Great for one or two nights; you can park wherever you want, fairly quiet, very friendly owner, and a good sharing platter. Thank you.Translating
A real gem! Warm welcome, peaceful and perfectly maintained setting. The location is ideal for exploring Hérisson Waterfalls and the Jura. The children loved the animals, and we spent a peaceful evening under the roof tent. A simple, authentic and rejuvenating place. We will gladly return!Translating
Magnificent farm spot. Dry toilets, children's games, pétanque and free-roaming animals. The owners offer cheese and charcuterie platters (€15) and Jura wine (€8). No departure time, ideal for walking to Hérisson Waterfalls. An added bonus: the Glouglou Miam Miam bar right next door is perfect for a beer after the hike.Translating
A wonderful place! We will definitely return. I highly recommend it for families. We were unlucky because on the second night a group arrived around 11 p.m. to pitch a tent and talked very loudly and made noise; the next day, the same thing happened at 7 a.m. while they packed up. We hope to have better luck next time because the place and the owners are ideal.Translating
We spent two wonderful nights! The animals and their hosts welcomed us warmly. The place really feels like the elves' farm.Translating
Very beautiful, isolated and peaceful place. Friendly owners, and their platter was delicious. Due to the drought, unfortunately we found the waterfalls practically dry, but if we are in the area again, we will return.Translating
Great place for €12 among goats, chickens and rabbits. Shaded pitches, clean dry toilets, drinking water, children's games, pétanque court, and a charcuterie platter for €15 offered in the evening. Very kind hosts. We will return.Translating
A great, very peaceful place with lots of space, very pleasant with the farm animals, and a very warm welcome from the owner.Translating
A beautifully located, very idyllic pitch—perfect for those travelling self-sufficiently. The waterfalls are easily reachable on foot. Goats and chickens create a very special atmosphere. The location on the edge of the forest offers plenty of peace and nature. A dry toilet is available. We felt very comfortable here and would gladly return.Translating
A wonderful place! A great bonus is the Jura charcuterie and cheese platters for €15, perfect for an aperitif and discovering local flavours! We loved it and will return! Thank you, Rachel and Robin, for this place.Translating
Wonderful place, run by very friendly, attentive people who give good advice. We spent a lovely night. The children's games are excellent. The hammocks provided are a real bonus. Thank you for your welcome. We will return without hesitation.Translating
Wonderful peaceful pitch under the trees, next to the goats, chickens and rabbits. Rachel and Robin are very friendly; thank you for welcoming us onto your land. Discovered by chance, I am adding it to my favourites for future weekends in the area.Translating
Friendly welcome. Good, fairly spacious pitches and a lovely little farm. Limited 4G reception. We will return.Translating
We planned to stay for one night but stayed for three. Just the kind of place we like: peaceful, with space between neighbours, respect for the surroundings, and a fountain available. Note: no electricity. Well located for hikes and waterfalls. Perfect place!Translating
We parked our converted van for one night. The place is quiet, with plenty of spaces under the trees; you can arrive and leave whenever you want. The owner is very kind. The price is really good.Translating
Everything is in place for one or two peaceful nights. Enough shaded pitches. Water available and dry toilets. Also ideal for couples with children. I recommend it.Translating
The ideal pitch: plenty of shade, children's games, pétanque court, mini-farm—perfect for children. Absolutely peaceful, with a water fountain available and Hérisson Waterfalls within walking distance. Super-friendly owner; you can go without hesitation.Translating
Such a cute place: peace and quiet, animals, a pétanque court, a children's playground, shaded or sunny spaces, and water—what more could you ask for a few relaxing days?! Plus, the owners are super friendly and give good advice. Hérisson Waterfalls are nearby on foot, and Lake Chalain can be reached by bike <3. And all this for €12 per night :*Translating
A wonderful welcome from Rachel and Robin. Honestly, it is a magnificent place, rather a haven of peace for a safe night; you can arrive whenever you like. €12 for 24 hours in a van, toilets and a water point. There should be more places like yours in France. Keep the place clean—there are bins—and please respect their work. Rachel and Robin, stay as you are :-) Thank you.Translating
Everything has already been said in the previous comments: a very peaceful night, plenty of space, shade, very clean dry toilet, etc. I recommend it.Translating
The previous comments have already given you the details; look no further for a motorhome camper's paradise: it is here!
Great little campsite with a mini-farm and children's games. You can settle wherever you want, with a wide choice of unmarked spaces. Dry toilet and water available. Rachel comes by in the evening to say hello and explain the walks. We paid via Wero, which is very convenient. €12 for vans and motorhomes. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
Choice of pitch, including shaded spaces. Very quiet and not too many mosquitoes for the season. Very welcoming. Small park with goats, rabbits, chickens, etc., and a children's playground. It was great!
Very beautiful, shaded place; we appreciated its tranquillity! Thank you for your welcome. We recommend it for a peaceful night. We walked to Hérisson Waterfalls from the Lacs sawmill through the forest, staying cool in the heat.
Very nice place with an exceptionally friendly welcome. Everything was very uncomplicated!
We came here by chance and it was a real highlight: a very quiet place with shaded pitches, which is a plus. We were able to see the animals even though we had two dogs.
Pleasant and green setting. Welcoming host.
Nice pitch, very kind hosts, you can park wherever you want, peaceful place despite the road, and no departure time.
Beautiful area with lots to explore. Especially the amazing waterfalls. Clean, and very well kept. Chsrmig with the animals and service was great. Compost toilets nice. But no showers or easy place to do dishes. We stayed with caravan. Recommended.
Wonderful place if you are self-sufficient and want to visit Hérisson Waterfalls. Absolute peace and quiet—what a pleasure. It is a shame that the super-friendly owners have to stay in the car park opposite.
Everything has already been said about this superb place. Thank you to our hosts for letting us enjoy their beautiful surroundings.
Very friendly welcome, peaceful and shaded area, a lovely initiative to support.
Very lovely, very peaceful grounds. Very friendly welcome from the young owners. Services are lacking: grey-water disposal and nearby toilet emptying.
Wonderful stay at La Scierie des Lacs. Very well-maintained campsite in nature and just a short walk from Hérisson Waterfalls. A true paradise for children, with farm animals. Peaceful, safe place with a top-notch welcome. In a van during high season: only €12 per day, with no arrival or departure times, so you can really enjoy it! We will gladly return.
Great place, lovely hosts! This is exactly how you want a pitch to be! Thank you for letting us stay here.
Very peaceful place. Friendly people. Numerous varied and shaded pitches. Animals and children's games. I recommend it.
We stayed on May 1 (€12). Six-metre motorhome, three adults and two dogs. You can choose your pitch freely! There is lots of shade and pitches large enough for several vehicles if you come with friends. Very well-maintained dry toilets. Friendly owners with good hiking advice, especially for Hérisson Waterfalls. Peaceful night facing the animals. A genuinely human welcome that is a pleasure; we highly recommend it!
Hello, we spent one night in our motorhome at La Scierie des Lacs. Very clean, well maintained, very peaceful among the animals, and the owner was very friendly. Truly great; we will return.
We spent a very peaceful night here. Very nice mini-farm, water point nearby, picnic tables available, and a secure place. Thank you for your welcome.
