This is the Mirador de Las Majadas, offering spectacular views, exceptional tranquillity and a clean setting. The access road is gravel but in excellent condition. Overnight stays are prohibited because the viewpoint lies within a nature reserve, and vehicles have been turned away.

Very nice view. Very quiet. Very clean. However, overnight stays are prohibited at Tío Cogote because it is in a nature reserve. A motorhome and a van had just been driven away when we arrived. We slept 150 metres before it, in a clearing, apparently outside the nature reserve.Translating
Really peaceful area with an incredible view. The road to get there is unpaved, but in excellent condition!Translating
Fantastic place. Use the remote spaces under the trees for the mirador itself features a “no camping” pictogram on the explanation table…. Secondly, navigation apps make you stop at a wide bend on the tarred road out of las majadas past the los callejones exit. Take the gravel road (camino de la fuente de la zarza) on the right and continue to a place marked “mirador de tio cogote” on hiking apps.
