This open space can accommodate approximately 6 motorhomes. Overnight parking is prohibited because the area is in Natura 2000. A rural guard required departure early in the morning, and a fine was mentioned despite there being no prohibition sign.

Good for walking around Montgenèvre and spending the night. At least that is what we thought! We were woken early in the morning by a rural ranger, who told us to leave because we were in a Natura 2000 area and overnight parking was prohibited. There was no prohibition sign, and we narrowly avoided a €135 fine! The ranger asked us to leave.
