Been here?
A stopping place beneath the dam beside a basin, but it is not suitable for camping or overnight stays. Recent reports say the basin contains no water, while older information identifies it as a dangerous turbine basin where swimming is forbidden. The place is directly beside a house and marked with camping-prohibited signs.

Right next to a residential building, with “Camping forbidden” signs everywhere; there is no water in the basin. Not recommended. However, on the way there you can simply turn left toward the lake and look for a parking spot there. Not suitable for overnight stays.
This is not a swimming pool but the stilling basin of the dam turbines. Swimming is forbidden and would probably be quite dangerous. The principle is explained a few meters farther on at Vodni dum. There is also a nice water-play area for children and a bistro. Swimming in the stream might be possible, but even now the water is extremely cold!
Good place to take a break and cool off in the water. Popular with locals.
Swimming is allowed, but the water is very cold. Camping and making fires are prohibited. Several prohibition signs point this out. A beautiful, well-hidden place just below the dam for stopping and cooling off.
Pretty place, nice for a quick dip in the pool, but strictly forbidden to camp. It’s written everywhere.
Beautiful place, clean and quiet. Just don’t drive past the no-entry sign; the police check there!
great spot with a swimming pool and stream. highly recommended
Beautiful, but camping is not permitted. The police asked that this be publicized because enforcement will soon become stricter.
Wonderful place for swimming and relaxing. Parking is only allowed in front of the outdoor pool; camping and overnight stays are actually neither allowed nor welcome. We nevertheless slept here for one night. The next morning around eleven, the police kindly pointed this out to us, and we moved. Otherwise, extremely idyllic. Sleeping below the dam is an experience.
